2015 Outdoor Grow

I'd go with more of the OG Kush over the Sour Diesel. If it's been awhile since you've grown OD, you might as well go with the easier (to grow), shorter (height), and shorter bud time strain.

Have a great year.

Peace

^have you personally grown either strain? Sour Diesel grows very fast, is forgiving, and is a heavy yielder. the average OG Kush on the other hand is not as forgiving, and is susceptible to fungal dis-eases... plus it tends to grow lanky/floppy with the stretching.

although OG Kush does yield well, it also does not yield as much as Sour Diesel...

as for the space issue, I'd go with whatever size container that is evenly spaced with atleast 5 foot centers if you want to pull 2 lb plants. I've learned that plants do better with more space to work with

If your only working with that sized greenhouse, smaller pots might be a better idea. I space my 100's 10' apart and 15' on my 200's. If they're right on top of each other, you won't get the full potential out of your 100's. Why don't you do a light dep? You could use smaller pots (we use 20's in our deps) and get 2 harvests out of it instead of 1. Depending on where you live you could run it all year if you added heat and supplemental light

ForeignerAbroad,

yes. Different ways as well. Sour Diesel can easily go deep into October, where OG Kush with the proper trellising can be brought down in September, with a satisfactory yield.

Everything thing on here is personal experience ForeignerAbroad, get used to it.

Peace

I'd say the average OG Kush usually goes AT LEAST 9 weeks... that means probably early October for an early estimate here on the West coast. I have yet to witness some one or personally harvest outdoor true OG in September. it depends on what variety, but IMO her fullest potential isn't reached until week 10

Well then ForeignerAbroad,

I guess you are recommending Glazed grows Sour Diesel. Good for you. Please open and post some pictures of your success for the community to see. There is a glaring lack of any proof of you as any sort of grower.

Some of my albums are open to the public.

Sorry Glazed if this is hijacking your thread, I was just recommending the OGKush over the SourDiesel, for this growing year at least. I live in the Desert, maybe you are in a completely different climate from me, and Sour Diesel is the better choice.

Peace

No hijacking here... Always interesting to here differing opinions in relation to technique and strain experience

Getting a late start... 10 100 gallon pots are going in the 10x20 for security purposes and the rest are going in 100 gallons outside.

:woohoo:
I can see the pics. Good start. All clones? That is 30 days growth?
Just wait till the sun hits them, they will really take off.

I'm in Northern California any idea when the "Sour Diesel" that is floating around begins to flower? Mid August?
