The slower the dry the better the bud tastes. It takes like 6-7 days for my buds to hang dry. After a week in the jars there pretty much ready to go. (Not Really) but people around here dont know the difference between a good 4 month cure or a week cure. It tastes good, looks good, and smokes good.
I get a complaint now and again about the potency not being there, but thats from the 1 week cure method. At 1 month cure everybody's happy. At 4 month cure Im pissed because it should've been gone already. LOL.

I hear ya bro! It's just been really humid lately like 80-90% RH... but things got there! Today the buds were at 65%RH in the jar, however this smoke needs to be a bit drier, too chunky and sticky, a week more and this herb will amazing!

This is all my headstash until next years harvest... I won't be selling any of it, maybe gifting a few friends here and then... I can't wait to be a year from now smoking on the rest of this (hopefully i'll still have some haha) lol 1 year cure organic outdoor buds FTW...

Just smoked a doobie of some ErdP, it tastes so sweet, might be one of the best smokes i've tried, mad smooth, so tasty yummmm its like bubblegums Pretty fucking high too A very productive high, just makes you wanna do shit, clean, trim, very motivational! The high is def more stronger than the last few days, I'm pretty sure it will get better too!

So, I had to go check the girls today because there is a 2 day thunderstorm and rain this weekend. Was halfway thru my hike and remembered i forgot the camera on the car, so no pics today unfortunately... sorry guys however you'll get to read 100 lines of me bragging and ranting, hope u guys are as high as I am right now !

Last week I had left one of the plants hanging outside, and it rained a lot... I though I was screwed, but when I got there I just spotted a few spots with mold, there was also a few spots with like white mold on top of the cristals, I tried to remove as much as possible, might just throw this plant and make some hash out of it... won't be drying the plants outside no more, too much on the line to get screwed on something that silly, and its way too humid out

Both HFH Deep Passion had very few spots of mold in it, this strain really surprised me, showed much vigor all the way thru, put out many colas that just got fatter and fatter and smells so nice, very resistant to slugs and mold, just gotta watch out for inch worms, but after we sprayed BT they stayed away! They were fat and prety much swollen up, prolly coulda went another few more days to be on its peak, but I decided would be best to just cut em. Pretty much ready by mid September. HFH gear owns outdoors! next year will run another few of their strains, maybe some more DP depending on the smoke report! Probably lost 2% to mold, i'll take that anytime! Got prolly a qp each. Was really surprised with the amount of buds I got, like 9 nice fat colas size of 22oz cans of beer! Pretty happy about it! They are drying indoors this time :]

Most of the other plants doing great! The CCxNH seems to have stopped stretching, buds are more developed but she still seems hungry, I didn't feed her anything today, but i might go back soon there with some good ACT

CJxSB #1 is probably going to be done in a 10-15 days. Starting to chunk up Smelling good too!

CJxSB #2 was stinking the whole place out, I could smell it from so far away lol buds getting chunkyy looking great, she looks a bit hungry too. I topdressed last few times I was there with some Kelp and guanos, didn't seem to make any difference... idk whats going on, if someone got any idea please chime in I'll take some teas next time soon!

CjxSB #3 seems to be chunking up nicely too, made a noticeable progress, removed most of the larf that wasnt gonna produce ishh, seems to be happy

3 of the Atlantic Diesels are just dieing, they havent shown any progress the past few weeks, idk whats going on, most of the leaves are just drying and falling, i didnt even wanna cut it down cuz if i do I won't know what to do with the smoke, cuz its gonna suck... already got an oz sitting here, that i'll prolly make some butter with.. Theres another one which IDK if its an AD or a DP, i think AD, looks the better outta them, she had some PM but i sprayed some greencure and hopefully she'll finish without mold... she's a week left...

The last ACE ErdP gonna be ready prolly at the same time as CJxSB1 not much yield, but she's so purdy and smells good too

i got some plants outdoors now too that are still only flowering like were ur late ones are about now!! .. would it be a better idea to introduce a male and make seeds for nextyear and make hash.. or let them go to harvest and if it works it works????????? iuno

like im wondering if i will have enough time for the plants to ripen!!! i feel it mite be a waste if i dont seed them.. just because the fact that atleast i could have tons of seeds and hash material.. and if i dont.. ill either have some bud.. or some hash material? anyone have any ideas for me im going crazy on figuring out what to do .. im just mad at the fact that my partner fuckin sucks and i had to put shit out late.. and basicly run a SOG outdoors

I'm not sure bro, don't have much experience breeding, so it would really depend on how long the seeds take to mature! I'm sure you can pollinate some branches of your plant and hope for the best, you don't need to pollinate the whole thing if you feel me

well do u think all ur plants will actually finish? thats all i was asking really like i have plants around the same flower sizes .. just trying to figure out if its worth keepin them out for hash.. if so id pollinate.. and if they can finish id take the bud! obv.... lol just dont wana see em all go to shit!

I hear you brother, but its hard to predict, depends on how long your strain is suppose to go... My CCxNH could go up to 14 weeks which would put me in the middle of November, maybe could pull a week or two early (end of october) and get some decent smoke out of it. If you strain goes only 9 or 10 weeks things look better for you! Last year was beautiful till the Halloween snow storm. Just gotta keep an close eye on the weather! I'll take my chances and take the gamble.

It will also depend on how strong is you strain to be able to go thru low temps and high humidity... otherwise the mold will prolly take over before you are able to harvest or many any seeds, not exactly sure how is your weather over there, but where I grow it's wet and humid!

Not much we can do, like I said, if you have the pollen in hand, id give it a try on a branch or two and try to make some seeds, that way if you end up with no seeds you still have the rest of the plant to make hash/smoke!

Just got done trimming the plants that got cut last friday.

Out of the two HFH Deep Passion we got 135gs or 4.8oz. Not sure how much each because they got mixed up together. Bunch of fat nuggets, bit airy but I don't mind it at all... One of the phenos smells like sweet rotten strawberries to me, tastes a bit citrus. The other one smells a bit different, not as sweet, but pretty intense. Havent tried that one yet. The high is a bit more racy sativa, very nice, smoked a fat bowl of it with the scissor hash, and got me high as fuck!

Out of the 3 ACE Erdpurts we got 140gs or 5oz. Also they got mixed together. Most rock solid hard smallish nugs. Some nice dark purple phenos, some dark green/purple. Big fat calyxes that are so dense and hard to break. Smoking out of a joint is tastes like bubblegum. The high is not racy at all, not too intense, relaxed and focus, good for cleaning and getting stuff done. Not couch lock either.

Pretty happy with the final product.

You only have like 3 more weeks and the season is over dude. Pollinating them now will only leave you with super tiny white immature useless seeds inside the bud that you will be forced to either bring inside or chop in 3 weeks.

Seeds take a minimum of 6 weeks to mature. Sorry but that plant is gotta be chopped by the latest....Oct. 5th.

Very nice Buddha. If it tastes good now and is potent, imagine after a nice long dry and cure, the weed can only get better and better over a 4 month time. But Im sure you will be smoking on it before then. Just like me.
My SSSDH just went into the jars today and I've already smoked up a 1/4oz over this past week quick drying buds with a cieling fan and putting the scissored up weed on a warm cable box on top of my t.v.
Instant smoke overnight or in 8 hours.
It took the 2 plants 8 full days of hanging to be dry enough to jar with still abit of moisture in the deepest parts of the stems. The longer it takes in a humid (60%) dark closet the better the taste.

Straight stunning genetics at its finest. glad the chop is going well. i lost some of my MBS due to mold but its one of those things N.E. love to bless us with. Glad the rest are doing well. awesome log for sure. With these past few nights of cold i bet your gonna see some nice colors for sure.

Not only that but now the girls are gonna get a good 4 days of perfect sunshine, perfect temps day & night, and a big wave of nice dry air coming down from Canada that will stay with us for the next 4 days.

You mean your gonna try and leave them out until Oct 31st?
You could get lucky and we may have an indian summer and get a streak of warm weather through Oct with only a few cold nights that dip into the 30's but its a long shot that the buds wont get frostbite damage. The roots can be protected good, and thats a good thing, but how do you plan on protecting the buds when frost is on everything,every morning, for the last 2 weeks? Thats the hard part.

Alone, for sure dude, it's hard to wait till its dry and ready to smoke em lol especially when you got nothing else in the stash ready! These nuggs were dried for 3 days on a warm dry attic with a fan flowing around them, not the best way to dry buds but it is what it is. It's down to like 60% RH just enough to start curing in the jars! Smoked some this morning after sitting on the jar all night and it definitely felt a bit more moist. So I'll give it a good burp for a few hours today!

Definitely man, that is the strain I'm the most excited about I hope my Thai pheno will be able to finish in time. I should chop the SB pheno in a week or two, its almost ready. It has a nice structure and terrific smell as well . Didn't find any signs of mold last time I was there, but I made sure to spray some fungicides on it just to keep it in check. The other two I'm not too worried about mold too much to be honest, it has such open lengthy internodes that get lots of air ventilation! I'm sure the thai strains are very good against mold. Thailand is a jungle

Mold is definitely one of the biggest difficulties here in NE. Next year my strain selection will consist mostly of HFH gear and some of LouD's beasts Hoping to get all females out there and not having to break my heart pulling 6ft tall healthy males out of the ground! Also on 50gal+ holes This year was a good learning experience for sure... next year is time to go bigger!

I've pulled shit down on halloween plenty of times, my buddy pulled some sativa's down middle of december that actually put on most of the weight AFTER they got a 1/2 inch dusting in october. He killed it last year because of that- missed all the moldy weather.

this is wat i have been told too.. depends.. a friend of mine pulled 5 pounds down on oct 31st i think it was 2 years ago ... iunno i guess it really depends.. they seem to be doing fine flowering hellafast. and i went out there to find.. a couple males from the seeds i put out that had busted a few balls .. so looks like im going to get some Afghan x everything seeds after all.. it looks like they both pollinated the lower branches off the bigger plants.. and none of the top branchs. i got seeds alraedy almost done.. so happy right now that i missed the 2 afghan males !! and ya its actually not bad .. im just wondering wen Buddah will be pulling the latests so i can have an aproximate date to pull mine lol
