True as the ALF#3 are still young actually 1.5 weeks as of today so transplant tonight But looking at bottled bud is a good thing, i can look at it AND smoke it then the tease is gone.

only thing is that one died on me and one is taking its time and looks like it might be another cloven . If history repeats its self then it should do just fine as the BB was a slow starter and then she exploded. I think it has something to do with the trait to be honest.

thank you my friend, and just to share a little something i did get some color in this grow. Found it last night after inspecting the two drying plants. On the very bottom of a few buds i saw some purples/reds. Not a lot but enough to make me smile

she has me mesmerised.

As they should. Those are some fantastic looking girls you have there the DC line fascinates me to be honest. But the thing that really has me going is the whole black thing. I love all the purples, reds, pinks, and whites but id love to see some black.....

Taste/effect test will be the decider..but my heart says I have her.

Comes back to what you told me in the Cup thread, i think that you cannaboid receptors go off like a fire alarm when you find what you are looking for!

So mossy you're entering into the wonderful world of tinctures?
I love them!
I tried buying them from some of the local dispensaries here but they just weren't up to snuff so I ventured into making my own. Now one dropper full into my coffee with cream & sugar does wonders for my body aches and mood.
I don't have it yet down to an exact recipe and not even sure if that's possible unless you're using the same strain each time. For me the best potency has come from using a mixture of high percentage alcohol, coconut oil (doesn't need very much of the oil) and glycerin. Seems to pull all the various cannabinoids out along with THC the best. I also use a slow cooker (i.e CrockPot) to speed the process. Usually just takes overnight. Used to use sugarleaf trim & bud, but as I now have an abundance of bud - I strictly use bud. Gives the best flavor and without all the chlorophyll.. If you do use leaf, be sure to dry it throughly in the oven (recommended temps vary, but I like 250 degrees F for about 1 to 2 hours, then crank up the temp to 325F for about 5 minutes). Seems to help get rid of most of the chlorophyll (also supposedly converts the THCA to THC or something like that).

Tons of conflicting info on the internet, so for me it was a lot of trial & error. If you want the full list of equipment I use and more in-depth instructions, let me know.

I can see and understand why you would want to. from everything that i have read about DC she can be quite powerful. Her resin cover, from the pics ive seen, can be astounding and to have that in a AF form and not have to wait it out would be amazing

they carry no anxiety/paranoia so should be okay for anxiety/depression.

I've noticed that they already look non-white..just waiting to see what develops.
Last grow I had 50/50% Purple..and non white..

CE..I've just checked..4 of my 5 girls are showing colour now.
1 looks a def dark purple..well see how the others mature.

My recipie called for 2 ounces of LEAF..

but I tweeked it.

I added 2 ounces of Leaf and Bud mix..with a good portion of bud
Dried leaf and main-stem from the black-line..
The fine trics from the bottom of the grinder..cap-full..
and about an ounce of other bud...

Booooommmmmm.....:smoky...

I've got a couple of cannabis cook-books...unfortunately..
most of the recipies contain wheat. Cookies..biscuits..etc..
and I ain't allowed wheat....
or
cannabis butter..
which ain't much good when you can't have bread to put it on...

See the little clay pot...today is the first day they have started to look DC dominant..
It is only the second time I have had them out.
When I made the DC crosses..
I made 2 x Standard ALF#3 X DC..
1 Special ALF#3 X DC..(which is the Black-line..)
and
1 x Purple Russian x DC..
that pot is the Purple Russian x DC.
First time she was out I got a nice mixed purple and white bud..I called it sporadic Blue.
It would be nice to see it again..
but this is just a fishing expidition..see Who she wants to be.
DC dom-inatrix by the looks...
I won't complain.

The ALF#3 @ day 56..or round abouts..
they were planted on 17-7
Microscope shots say they are quite mature in the tric department..
BUT...
I have a small pollenation on them..
so I will wait for seed maturity...
IF the forecast weather hits next week though..
I may take them down.

these were not on the grow list..
part of an AF roll..the non-af..to be disposed of ..

because they were unwanted..they were left next to the AF ALF/DC males...

Definitely watch those DC hybrids for molds with expected long periods of rain coming.... Prime ripening weather here.... Starting to get to be time to stop wishing for rains... Not sure which way I want it.

I guess it would be nice to see an inch or 2 of slow rain followed by sunny, windy warm weather for a couple days and then another inch or 2 of rain followed by sun and wind...

Starting to roll over into fall here for sure... Lows around 50-60 degrees F and highs around 70-85 instead of blaring 90's.... Humidity has really dropped too, been feeling great, although its back up again today...

So you're experimenting with tinctures. Hope they work well for your pain this winter.... Water extracted hash is an easy method that gets good returns... I would recommend buying a cheap 3-set of bubble bags, a new 5 gal bucket, and a big ass metal stir spoon.... Give it a try, its quite potent stuff... Especially if you are putting any kind of flower material in...

Some patients put hash in pill capsules, but i doubt that works all that well... You'd need a lot of them I would think..
