We are a group of passionate growers located in Eugene, Oregon. We have been waiting on a second test to be done before we shared this with everyone. We believe we have stumbled upon some incredible medication here. We have been trying to obtain High CBD genetics for a while through various means, luck was mixed at first, a few that were supposed to be high CBD came out high THC with little to no CBD. We were however blessed with a 22:1 AC/DC and a 2:1 Shark Shock that tested 12% CBD and 6% THC, But none of us where expecting the numbers produced by the CBD Crew Skunk Haze test plant. 24% CBD-A and 9% THC-A!
This grow was merely a test run to see if any of the strains were worth keeping. Obviously this one is. We are currently working on making mothers and gearing up for a big run of this strain. We have every Intention of getting this strain to the public in clone and medicine form, and hopefully even S1 seeds. We have our best and most passionate growers dedicating a serious amount of attention to this plant. We will also have clones of the 22:1 AC/DC coming in the next two weeks for OMMP patients (free of charge to patients in need.)
Not only is this strain an insane producer of CBD but it has a significant amount of THC also. Just enough to add the medical benefit of the THC without the psychoactive properties. I tried a small amount and it is very relaxing, almost like time has slowed down. Major stress and pain relief without any "stone" or "high". Just a slight "floaty" feeling. I cannot wait to see what this strain can do for serious pain, seizures, etc.
From our understanding CBD Crew Strains are hitting 5%-10% (I have seen more tests lately pushing into 12 and 13% CBD) with a 1:1 and 2:1 ratio pretty consistently which is awesome. We are also learning about the role of various Alleles in the conversion of CBG to CBD or THC and how one could theoretically breed for CBD. It seems to get more and more complicated the more I look into it. This particular phenotype of the Skunk Haze is rare and something very special.
All of us here at the Guild are ecstatic that nature has blessed us with this incredible medicine, but for Adam, the grower behind this plant, It is even more personal. He has been searching for a strain to help heal his closest friend Frank and this plant couldn’t have come at a more important time. In honor of this, we have re-named this phenotype Frank's Gift with the blessing of the CBD Crew.
Attached are the two lab tests run on the plant. OG Analytical, who is the most reputable facility in the area, recalibrated their machines and re-ran the test multiple times trying to prove themselves wrong and it came back the same every time. After that, we sent it to Cascadia Labs in Bend for a secondary confirmation and it came back looking consistent with the previous tests. We did not run a mold/mildew/pesticide on this plant since it was only a test plant. We grow organically and are certain our gardens are mold/mildew/pesticide free but there will certainly be full analysis done when we are offering it for the public.
