20+% CBD Skunk Haze (Frank's Gift)

We are a group of passionate growers located in Eugene, Oregon. We have been waiting on a second test to be done before we shared this with everyone. We believe we have stumbled upon some incredible medication here. We have been trying to obtain High CBD genetics for a while through various means, luck was mixed at first, a few that were supposed to be high CBD came out high THC with little to no CBD. We were however blessed with a 22:1 AC/DC and a 2:1 Shark Shock that tested 12% CBD and 6% THC, But none of us where expecting the numbers produced by the CBD Crew Skunk Haze test plant. 24% CBD-A and 9% THC-A!

This grow was merely a test run to see if any of the strains were worth keeping. Obviously this one is. We are currently working on making mothers and gearing up for a big run of this strain. We have every Intention of getting this strain to the public in clone and medicine form, and hopefully even S1 seeds. We have our best and most passionate growers dedicating a serious amount of attention to this plant. We will also have clones of the 22:1 AC/DC coming in the next two weeks for OMMP patients (free of charge to patients in need.)

Not only is this strain an insane producer of CBD but it has a significant amount of THC also. Just enough to add the medical benefit of the THC without the psychoactive properties. I tried a small amount and it is very relaxing, almost like time has slowed down. Major stress and pain relief without any "stone" or "high". Just a slight "floaty" feeling. I cannot wait to see what this strain can do for serious pain, seizures, etc.

From our understanding CBD Crew Strains are hitting 5%-10% (I have seen more tests lately pushing into 12 and 13% CBD) with a 1:1 and 2:1 ratio pretty consistently which is awesome. We are also learning about the role of various Alleles in the conversion of CBG to CBD or THC and how one could theoretically breed for CBD. It seems to get more and more complicated the more I look into it. This particular phenotype of the Skunk Haze is rare and something very special.

All of us here at the Guild are ecstatic that nature has blessed us with this incredible medicine, but for Adam, the grower behind this plant, It is even more personal. He has been searching for a strain to help heal his closest friend Frank and this plant couldn’t have come at a more important time. In honor of this, we have re-named this phenotype Frank's Gift with the blessing of the CBD Crew.

Attached are the two lab tests run on the plant. OG Analytical, who is the most reputable facility in the area, recalibrated their machines and re-ran the test multiple times trying to prove themselves wrong and it came back the same every time. After that, we sent it to Cascadia Labs in Bend for a secondary confirmation and it came back looking consistent with the previous tests. We did not run a mold/mildew/pesticide on this plant since it was only a test plant. We grow organically and are certain our gardens are mold/mildew/pesticide free but there will certainly be full analysis done when we are offering it for the public.

Great news, as clones get passed around hopefully we will see some hybrids and s1's,
all the best with it.

Damn I Wish I was in Oregon. I have a patient that needs low thc, and I can't really afford testing on a cbd seeds run nor can I get high cbd clones in the mitten

Wow, that is a nice pheno. Congratulations on your find.

I've on the same quest myself since my dad was diagnosed with cancer last year.

Wow! And nearly 30% total cannabinoids... kudos!
I hope for you that the S1-thingie works, though I'm a bit sceptical... *touch-wood*

That is a great find, how many plants did you run?

I too am a little skeptical about breeding it or seeing similar results with its progeny but it may be worth a try. Your best bet with that plant is to clone it and clone it and clone it and...

I would love to give this a run here in Oregon if you want multiple opinions or tests done from multiple sources/growers, I am currently running a personal found pheno of Pennywise and getting results of 12%thc/13%cbd and would be happy to share results. I'm based out of Portland.

We too are skeptical about the ability to pass it on through seed, but we are going to try our best and hope for at least some CBD consistency.

just a single feminized seed from CBD Crew. we ran one each of a few possible high CBD strains from seed but did not get any other high CBD phenos. we got really lucky with this one.

Tandem repeats contributes to the variable thc/cbd in these medical hubrida. I'm working w cbd-skunk haze, too, but i dont know the numbers bc i'm in a state that sucks.

Still, so everyone knows, tandem repeata of genes are likely what causes these variable results. Tendem repeats are copies of a gene over-and-over that results in differential doses of genes after f1 breeding through cross over events between alleles. Interesting stuff for geneticist breeders.

Either way, cbs skunk haze has cured cancer in my (sadly underground) world. Cbd crew is doing a great job.

Also, the quality if cbd skunk haze is so dank recreational smokers dig it! ...which is good bc we ahould all get this super-food coursing through our blood from time.to.time.

Cheers!

why do ya'll speak as if only cbd fights cancer ?? THC fights cancer too....

the appeal of CBD is that it fights muscular and nervous system issues without the high ...

sure but high CBD strains do have less side effects...

I too have found a high CBD Skunk Haze pheno and so far it is the best medicine I have tried for my chronic pain and my skin infections.
It is also very tasty, and the buds are rock hard and frosty. For sure not frosty like the modern elite OG cuts.... But who cares??

Since I have this medicine, I feel less jalous when I see people who do not have the chronic pain and diseases I have to deal with every day...

It makes everything easier for me.

But unfortunately I didn't keep any cut of it. I was too skeptical and thought cbd enriched strains from Cbd Crew were just a marketing thing...

i got some of this today from Botanica in pdx. if this is your strain, lemme say, by far, this is a most exciting find for me. i would very much love to get my hands on a clone. i also know a few people that are going to eat this stuff up. usually the cbd strains aren't that great tasting and especially smelling but this is very nice. good numbers, good effects, all around 5 star for me.

thanks!
