Cheers bro, indeed its a similar situation, but just like you i will be back to grow out tons more auto strains! Im still loving my 150, although i wouldnt mind bumping my shit up to a 250... Temps have never really been a problem, im able to get my plants within 5-6 inches of the bulb without burning.. with a 150 you need minor ventilation as well...ive only got the 4inch inline fan for the carbon scrub

I think that if the seeds aren't ripe by the time you have to move, you could just chop the buds at the base of the stems and put them in a vase of water..I bet they'd develop another week or 2 just like a regular flower. Just something to think about as long as it would be safe for you to do that somehow. Safety's #1, you can always rebuild later.

Thanks for stopping in ol stealthy dragon! I've only heard this method used for like a bouquet of flowers and for collecting pollen..I actually think you could be on to something, have you or anyone you know used this method to allow for more seed ripening ?

Anyone else have input on this method?

P.s. I will be updating the sour60xpinkbuds over the weekend, gonna make everyone wait a couple more days .. so exciting this next update will be, I promise you guys that!!

I figured i would share with you guys.... the ONLY male i got from my cross...this is the guy im obviously using for seed, looks like i got a pretty good male... he is only in 32oz cup and is over 2 feet tall! Also he is under a single 23watt CFL...

very nice man, I enjoy seeing a nice healthy male. I've never chopped a branch and threw it in a vase like that...but I do have a bunch of seeded plants half done...I'll pull one out after lights come on and chop it out of the coco and throw it into a jar of lite nutes.

The single male that I also got has a few stripes of purple on some of the sacks...I'm guessing it came from the gdp. My male is very small though so it's hard to get a feel for it's structure. bout 7 hrs till lights on, then I'll chop that one and put up a macro of the male.

Funny you asked SGS, here ya go! Here are the females... These are the phenos i decided to pollenate, each one of these 3 females has 2-3 lower branches DOUBLE pollinated! Once at day 32 and the other at day 35... One Pheno is SUPER SATIVA, its nearly 2 feet tall and only in .5 gallons of soil..Ive also seen spots of SLIGHT pink, i suspect this will become more dom. im the next generation.. The middle pheno is green, but very beautiful structure.. and the last one most resembles pinkbud and is showing the most pink... its still not very much but it is something!!
As usual im a lil bit behind on feeding, in these small pots deficiencys kick in REALLY fast!

Sativa Pheno! (one of left in picture above) I love this one!!!

Would do amazing in SOG... She is about 24ish inches(lil bit less), i suspect she would have easily got over 3 feet in a bigger pot

Close up...you can see spots of pink! I hope it starts to come through more! The green phenos deff look way different...

These next three are the phenos that i didn't pollinate for various reasons, im sure each will have a few seeds since i didnt separate the females like i usually do and put baggies on them.. One looks like its showing color, so i might slap some pollen on her!

It's looks a bit like that sour60 I did in coco a while back...does it have that puppychow smell? I really like that pink bud pheno, looks like it's gonna fill in nicely. Hopefully those colors come through for ya real nice..pinkbud is probably the most beautiful plant I've seen.

Im very surprised at how beautiful the sour60XPinkbud cross is turning out, but both strains when i grew them were INCREDIBLY beautiful, probaby my 2 favorite strains ive grown! I will get back to you on the puppy chow smell, but it deff is different smelling... how was the smoke of the sour60 sativa pheno you got?

So far i see very slight coloring, im sure it will come through more as they mature, and i can hardly wait for the next generation!!

Sounds quite nice! I love a hashy smoke! I remember my sour60 being very very fruity ALL of my phenos, some citrusy, some more berry flavored...

Thats good it can make even the simple and boring tasks fun!! Thats a big plus in my book...

I HATE SMALL POTS!! For the life of me i have no idea why i decided to go with small pots! I always end up feeding to late and deficiencies kick in really fast! No matter what i do i cant seem to get small pots dialed in, for future grows, im doing 1 gallon or bigger, no more .5 gallon!

Here are the 4 moms i pollinated, i WASNT careful with pollen so im gonna have hundreds and hundreds of seeds....These look like they have potetial to be HEAVY PRODUCERS!! 6 plants under only a single 150watt HPS, imagine these under a 400 or 600!

Had to bend the big sativa momma over! Too tall! Loving how big she got in such a small pot!!

One of my favorite phenos, this is the 4th i decided to pollenate because of resin content and COLOR

This next one is developing SUPER FAST, it looks just like the pinkbud mother i used, but maturing much much faster...

These are the ones i left "unseeded" for obvious reasons... i want BIG COLORFUL autos!

That's one of the draw backs to small pots, you miss a feeding by only a few days and it can go tits up very quickly, especially with AF's I've found even in bigger pots due to the way they fly through the stages they can rinse the nutrients out of the soil super quickly.

As it's mostly for seed anyway I wouldn't worry, they never look their prettiest when seeded.

Very small pots indeed, I haven't used 3 gallons ever since I grew onyx nearly a year ago...the buds deff always look great and smoke even better in the end..my goal though for this one is SEEDS..and I'm positive I've got loads and loads...

I totally recommend waiting to de-seed until it's bone dry too..it makes it sooo much easier and you don't mash up the bud so much....seems like if bud gets mashed up while it wet it always ends up smelling like schwag and doesn't cure right..

Cheers bro, i havent used smart pots, BUT i have thought about using them in the past, i might look into them when i decide to get a new setup going.. Its teu, they do seem to get very picky once they get seeded.. I usually do wait until the seeded buds are bone dry, i agree the bud is torn apart when you deseed when wet!

Not sure, ive always heard seeded plant produce less THC, ive never seen clone by clone proof, so im not Positive... But i can note this... ALL of them smell VERY STRONG... Im glad they are coming down in a couple weeks!
