if the government were run like an ETHICAL business, it would be vastly more efficient. instead it is run like the Enrons and worldcoms of the world except nobody is being indicted and fined a shitload of money. does it have to be this way? of course not! but far too many people accept it for what it is and arent willing to do anything about it, even if it only means voting. Ron Paul has returned unused budget money multiple times and is one of the few. more should follow his example.

texas has much bigger problems than pot fields.
i am not 100% sure of this, but im pretty sure that more drugs enter the country through texas than any other state. i heard a statistic that more cocaine comes through corpus christi than miami.

way to go texas... you should be annexed by mexico.

Texas, Home of the President unelect and Mr. Gonzalez, who is just the latino clone of the bush boy daddy had grown when he was CIA tsar.

Perhaps this Mega bust ultra grow snuck right onto state land was a part of the overgrow meant to be found.
You know how sophisticated us terrorist growers can be. It is well known that Growers reversed engineered their advanced stealth technologies from an organic plant based spaceship discovered in the 60's.

Apparently, a US spy satellite picked up imagery of a 1.5 BILLION plant grow just outside of California and.....OH WAIT ...that's just the Chinese. Sorry Asia we thought we were still spying on our own citizens. Thanks for the complimentary toothpaste.

Ahhh, the alarm next door just went off again. The third time in 24 hours. I love incompetency. OK I have to get the baseball bat and head downstairs.

Cops- a hundred million plants destroyed
Growers - still getting us all high
You decide.

Some one asked why the feds checking the DNA of the cannabis they find. the story goes: Once upon a time, in a fucked up land, so so close by; lived a person who likes cannabis. They like it so much they are even brave enough to grow it. But first they need some seeds.. So they Google canna seeds and find wonderful sites online to purchase them. Once this person gets their seeds they put them in the ground and begin the wonderful life of growing cannabis.
Several years down the road,, that person has quite the collection of cannabis growing in their backyards / closets. The Feds pounce hard on the Seed distributors and seize all of their assets (seeds included). The seeds are all tested for DNA. So... it can be compared to YOUR strain. If they can prove that you got your genes from "Seedbreeder soandso" you might be an accessory to the crime.. and you better pray that they dont bring "drug king pin" charges up, cause that brings a death penalty sentence possibility.
I know that the feds are "Swabbing ducts" of all the indoor grows they "suspect". they have been looking for DNA for sum 7 years now that i can recall. So watch out what you throw in the trash..
Honestly i wouldn't doubt if the feds have been inside major grow ops (without owners knowledge) and are building a data bases. I fear what the new underground grower is gonna have to go through to pull off a secret uber crop.
The main two reasons that i can think of are 1.) collect DNA and catalog it for a future use.. like criminal evidence in trials against growers. and 2.) Collect DNA to be patented by DOW company or maybe Monsanto GM bio engineers. /shrug them are a couple of my guesses off the cuff.
Well, i honestly think the best recourse would to be to plant as many wild plants as you can and let them reproduce naturally. That way the Seeds you might get from them, would come from "earth" like normal. not "Soandso". Well, i've scared myself into a closet now!.. be well all, take care of one another.

damn...i go outta town for a week and this shit happens, crazy

yo big dawg: my parents house is right around that area and i happened to be raised in a town very nearby, funny i just had a conversation with a friend who was trying to argue that there was no way a commercial grow like that could be near our town and lo and behold...

props to those guys though, seems like they sacrificed alot to tend to that crop...plus its a little scary to think they were living there like 24/7 considering coyotes and foxes are running through the forest preserves all the time esp at night when one wuld be asleep

Ticks me off that they are ruining MY (public) land for what is obviously a commercial grow in what amounts to MY back yard. We moved here in large part because of the many preserves, wetlands and the attitude of the people that not every inch of land need be developed. Much as I like my smoke, this kind of large scale "farming" in an area set aside as a nature preserve is just wrong. Would that it were legal and one could farm properly - on farmland -and keep our preserves as they are.
