2 Weeks Old - Yellow Leaves

Good point. I hope the flush drained the stuff out. It was only a 12-6-6 mix. Things are looking a little more yellow each time I look at the plant... I have it propped up next to a tooth pick because it looked top heavy and was tilting... This plant shot up really tall in just two weeks while the other one planted at the same time is only 1/8 of the size -- I wonder what the deal is. Just genetics maybe?

OT,

I noticed the veins were still green on the yellow leaves....The colydons(or seedleaves) as I call them is what you were talking about in post #18...These are the two small leaves that "feed" the plant it's first 3 weeks of life....During this three weeks the seedling will feed from those two leaves while it's building it's root system to feed with later....That's the reason you don't fertilize the first three weeks of the plants life....When you see the seedleaves began to yellow and turn pale, that's when the plant will began feeding from the roots....

BTW, give the seedling a weak shot of epsom salts...At around 1/4 Teaspoon per quart of water....Keep an eye on the yellowing and see what the mg does for the plant...Hope this helps....LC

The plant is under two 40 watt, 40" tube lights that said they are for plant and aquarium light.

I would get rid of these lights as well, and go with some daylight or cool tubes, I think it will help your growth a little.

When you turn back on the lights...you will see where its lime green..thats NEW growth..

NOW... the better the light, the better the leaves will turn dark green and fill up the leave AFTER the light is turned on

The only time when you know when its time to feed is when in the middle of the day and the leaves still dont change color and/OR its time to feed her anyways

Just feed her 5-1-1 fish ..just a teaspoon in a gallon for start... I usually would not pay any attention but feed her only 2 times in veg in 30 days from seed.. on the 15th day and the 25th day

Sometimes its not the ferts,or PH... Its just the weak light being so far away

Yep, get some cool whites, and stick those babies right between the tubes :woohoo:

This is my clone (mom) chamber, 3x20w cool, couple of clones and a Cali-O male I want to cross with. :joint:
