Coop great thread.

Many props to the metal studs on the concrete walls and mold resistant sheet rock. You didn't take any short cuts on the build.

I'm in a similar position I have a 10 plant limit( just got my medical card). I'm new to indoor growing been outdoors for over 20 years .

Does it really take a (aprox dim of your drawing) 11'x8' flower room, 8'x12' veg room and a 5'x8' , what I think is called a lung room, to max out a 12 plant grow? Really interested in what type of space will be required to make the most of my 10 plant limit.

I want to stick to soil it's what i know. It looks you are doing SCROG grow. Like to get your experience with this method?

Thanks and really appreciate you taking the time to document you build and grow.

Hey hamstring, thanks for the comments. To answer your question on space, probably not. I plan on the flower room having less empty space eventually when it’s finished with full plants in there. A lot of people make their rooms the exact size they need for the canopy. I personally wanted more empty space in my veg room for a couple reasons. It’s easier to move and work all around without bumping into stuff. And I believe it’s easier to dial in the environment with more room for air movement and circulation. And I made the lung room in between to also have a space outside the garden to do all my water stuff and have a little storage closet for brooms and supplies.

To answer you on scrog, this is my first grow personally even though I’ve been around big grows and been involved in the community so to say for 5-6 years now. So this is my first scrog. In this grow right now, the scrog isn’t really the best it could be because the veg room was never set up to do it originally, but I had to do it a little just to get enough of a spread on the canopy under that one light. Eventually when I have the flower room up and running I’ll have it done properly. That’s where I’ll grow them three to four times the size they are right now.

Think they’re done stretching. The buds are getting a little bigger and are already showing some frost. I’ll get better pictures later.

Hey coooper, The plants look great! What's on top of your grow medium? I need something to hold my coco down. I have to recover the roots every time I water.

Thanks for the info. Just want to give you some props again on the build.

I have been putting together a 6'x4'x'6-tall flower room with a 2'x2'x6'-tall veg room.(Basement with Low ceilings)
Dude its way more work than I ever expected. I don't have a framing nail gun so everything has been with screws.

Thanks for taking the time to record your build and grow. I would say good luck but looks like you made your own luck.

Just coming out from Lurking to say the build looks great and the plants look even better! I'm going to be doing a build similar to this in the upcoming months and may take a couple of your ideas for inspiration. How are you finding this strain to grow?

Cheers

Thank you, and take any idea you want! I have three strains right now, and personally my favorite is the Sangria. It’s not too bulky with smaller leaves and super tight node spacing. If I had the room to clone at the moment, I’d have taken only clones of sangria. It’s really pretty.
