Oh yeah i was reading about your cal-mag usage, and i have been using between 300-400 ppms of it for most of veg. With RO water.

I use it to bump up nitrogen if they look pale, while also being certain cal and mag levels jive. Learned that tip somewhere in these forums. It seems to be working, but my flowering has just begun.

How many days do you flush for? And when you do flush how often and for how long? I am just curious if you know the strain enough to know a week or two before they are finished?

I flush for about 7-10 days, this is normally an 8-9 week strain. I normally water about every other day, about 1/3-1/2 gallon, atleast till I get the 10-15% runoff, When I flush I might water daily, but my flush is plain R/o water with 12ml/gal topmax .

nuggie - im thinking you are going too strong on the grow. i use biobizz in a soil (peat), coco, perilite mix also. my recipe is, per gal. (Veg) 9ml grow, 9ml alg-a-mic (Bloom) 9ml grow, 9ml alg-a-mic, 13.5ml bloom, 9ml topmax. this is used at every watering until 3 weeks before harvest, when a plain water flush begins. i don't use r.o water so you will have to experiment with the cal-mag for correct ratios (or read the coco forums). there is no point trying to flush organic nutes out of the soil, as they don't wash out like salt nutes. i would do two plain waterings and then switch to my formula. it's probably a little late to save this crop fully, but grow and learn. good luck

Well the fan leaves look like shit but the buds look great and thats what counts. Very good work for your first grow. However I would suggest you stick with what youre doing for your 2nd grow. Constantly changin setups is what I used to do and you never really end up maximizing your potential. Take what you learned from this grow and apply it to the next round. You can improve what you been doing and get even better results instead of tryin somethin new like you mentioned. Take it from someone whos been doin this a long time, learn a system and stick with it for a while till you get it perfect. Dont forget to post up your yield and make sure you chop before too many trichs turn amber.

Really nice, especially for a first grow. You're gonna be good at this!

You'll arrive at the growing style that works best for you on your own, but one thing I would advise is to keep an eye out for any possible powdery mildew. I used to air-cool my lights with the intake from beneath my house, and ended up actively sucking in DRAFTS of the shit. It cost me a lot of money in lost product and wasted electricity. No amount of filtration helped, and the problem only went away when I closed up the holes in my wall. You might want to take a little walk around your building and check whether plants right outside have any of the dreaded white stuff.
