2,000 wt/soil/2 weeks until harvest

Hey guys and girls :rasta:

this is my second successful grow (after one botched one, 3 total), the first being early this spring. i have been apart of the forums before during my 1st grow and part of my second but I opted to leave the forums. anyways now i am back, and with a story to tell. i will be uploading photos within the next 24 hours. but here is for a few details.

Nutrients:

General Hydros 3 part solution (grow, micro, bloom), i use them in parts(tsp to gall) 3-1-1 for veg and 1-1-3 for flower. although i think i need to change my noob feeding schedule. advice? btw i also add molasses and pure cane sugar (zulka) during flowering.

all my plants are in 5 gal buckets with as many holes that can fit on the bottom.

Flower room:

5 strains

4 sativa
2 indica
1 afghan
1 hash plant
1 tange/blueberry

Lights:
1x 1000 MH
1x 1000 HPS

fans
1 box fan
2 oscilating fans

i am expecting my sativa girls and the blueberry/tange plant to go a couple weeks longer than the rest to fill out or w/e. but as for the rest :rasta: should only be 2 weeks or so. i need to give them 1 more nut feeding before i start my minimum 2 week flush.

again sorry for no pics yet, i have been very busy the last couple days in AK as my favorite band just came to town. i got my ass beat last night when i sprinted backstage past security guards and pigs, ran upthe stage with a running start and leaped into the crowd.

how was i supposed to know that every one else who achieved what i did also got a beat down by the crowd.?

needless to say my feet got stuck in the fence so i was hanging there getting pounded :nono: but it was all worth it! :headbange

lol this is a cannabis forum right :p

lol billy :spank:

first up are the sativas.

these sativas seem to produce my fattest buds, and take the longest to finish. the high is very uppy, and the weed is also the 'skunkiest' stinks real bad. they should get 2-3 more nut feedings before the flush.
4 sativas total

there is 2 pics of the sativas with 1 semi close-up

now i will show u the 'mystery' bagseed. this strain came out of a really sweet weed, like a tange. for now i call it the Berry. dont remember how the smoke is. but she will take maybe 2 more nut feedings before the flush. just 1 of her (no clones either she almost hermied on me.)

now here is my strangest plant. i believe the local grower in town referred to this girl as the "Ape weed" but i like to refer to it as the hash plant. it grows VERY VERY slow, small, DENSE buds. the buds are very heavy, almost carries twice the weight as any other bud even when dried/cured the same. when smoked it has an 'earthy' taste and it 'chars' like hash does, hence i call it the "Hash Plant". 1 plant this round because it tough to grow.

now for my personal favorite what i refer to as the 'Afghan'
it has a great stoney high, with very dark green leaves throughout the whole growing phase. buds get very caked in resin and when smoked this bud burns the best, thats why it is my favorite. im not sure how it happened but i only ended up with 1 flowering girl of this strain :( :(

last but not least a pic of the back corner of the room. i have my 2 indicas ladies in the very back. those plants are the prettiest out of all of mine. leaves are a perfect shape and color. the plant growth is very symmetrical if u know what i mean. wherever a branch is there is another identical one on the other side of the plant. it keeps a nice perfect even canopy if rotated evenly. and on top of all that goodness the indica is the strongest resin producer out of them all. when i smoke this stuff out of my ice bong we end up talking for hours before we finish the bowl!!!! its pretty intense!!!! so yea 2 indicas in the very back, the last (and best) sativa on the front left with the afghan wedged to the right of that and behind the hash plant.

the ones i will harvest first are the indicas, hash plant, and the afghan. they get 1 nutrient feeding tonight before we begin the flush phase. the rest of the plants i want to continue longer to get bigger buds.

hope you all enjoyed the tour of my grow, sorry for some of the bad shots (especially the afghan) i just popped these off real quick to show you all what i got. i plan on taking much much better ones soon, most likely when i water tonight or tomorrow. take care people :muahaha: :headbange :jump:  :rasta:

almost forgot!

almost forgot!

how can i forget!!! the clones!!!

i took about 100 clones of all my plants (except the Berry) to give away to friends and excited growers. my theory is the more clones i give out the more weed is in town. and this town can be dry at times. any who, here are the clones, and yes i know, sometimes i go too long between waterings(far tray) and they droop a bit :nono:

and if u look close enough (little black container with 4 clones) i am growing a strain called 'the purps' or some kind of purp strain (purp haze, erkle) theres probaly 1000 of different types but this one came straight on the plane from San Fran, so i know it is a good strain.

that'll be it for today

ANY COMMENTS/ADVICE IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!

stay stoned

awesome man! looks great. that last pic had a huge stalk! i like how u trimmed your plants and pretty much kept only the buds to grow. next time a round i am going to be introducing my plants once a week and they will be trimmed up very good so as to not have small branches under the canopy. i trimmed them this time but not until they had been flowering for a few weeks. that will increase my yield and give me even bigger buds next time around.

thanks mate!! good to hear from you been a while. i still have my seeds in a film canister in my fridge, i plan on building a 2 level cab today or tomorrow, moms will be on bottom and clones vegging to get ready for the flower room will be in the top. on the side i will build a smaller 'cabinet' to sprout my seeds in, from there i can sex them until i have my own TFB.

i got myself a new light yesterday ****ing i cant wait to use it i just have to wire a 240 plug for it. the hood is a horizontal hydro farm (vents on the side to hook a vent to) and a 1000w hps lumatek digital ballast.

peace bro

sounds like a great plan!

I got a lumatek 600 watt purple digi, hydrofarm hood, and hortilux bulb....im really stoked. The digi puts out sum interference in my house....does yours at all?

btw...how did the growbags work?....I was gonna run 3 gallon ones under the 600, but not sure yet?

hey thats my same hood and style ballast! i got the purple one too, but 1000w. i have yet to hook it up because i gotta wire some 240 outlets to hook it up. mine is 240 only.

what do u mean by interference? tv, radio etc?

and for the grow bags i think they worked great no real problems with them.

thought u guys would enjoy these

thought u guys would enjoy these

i watered last night and decided to pin a curtain up to take pics as i was watering.

I know i have a bad habit of letting my plants go too long between waterings but things are getting better. i dont wait TOO long :bashhead: but the Hash Plant did get hit the worst. this morning the girls look MUCH nicer. i almost want to pull them out to take pics again because (as normal) the buds fattened up last night and the tree's look all around perky now.

Sativa

Indica

Hash Plant

Berry

Afghan

notice the stem :smoke:

Looking tastie mate. Do you flush the lime out of the rockwool cubes before using them for clones?

I have grown huge plants indoor like you though settled on many small single colas that I could rotate under tracks to maximize the secondary lighting. This and I feel they harvest quicker when they are smaller. Any insite? When I was running 2 1000 watters a few years ago with tracks and parabolic shades they covered 10 by 21 feet of canopy space. What is the square footage you have covered out of curiosity? The plants look stellar mate.

thanks for the feedback kong.

i have been setting up this grow pretty much as i go, because i just moved into this place, nevertheless i am excited about the bud that is growin, it has taken minimal effort to grow these trees. next grow will be much better, i hope to go hydro instead of soil, and i plan to introduce only 1 plant a week into my flower room, that way i can eventually keep a perpetual going. :joint:

im not sure about the exact area of square feet my lights cover, that will be another thing i plan to improve next crop because i have both of my hoods now.
( i am running a light without a hood atm :bashhead:)

i will also do like you (and others have done) and try growing small plants for once to better use my light. it makes them easier to manage, easier to rotate, water, etc. :rasta:

thanks for the kind words :respect: :bandit:

"AG" looks like your doin' a great job bro!

u get to grow w/ a big light w/out a hood because your in Alaska....try that in most of the lower 48 and heat is gonna screw ya! (1 of the zillion reasons that I'm missin Alaska everyday)

I cant wait to see the TFB's ...I'm glad your gettin things down before runnin' them.

the TFB clones I have in flower are really really nice plants....I havent posted pics of them yet, but will VERY soon.

keep us posted bro
