Wassup everyone.
If you are here, thanks for suporting my newbinesses :D
The tent is one MH 1x1x1.8m, light FCE 3000 https://www.mars-hydro.com/fc-e3000-led-grow-light, humi is a 20l reservoir with 3 mist heads (one spare so can be 4) with a pcfan, oil heater to warm up things all controled by a chinesium hygrometer dialed with a 62% boveda pack, 2.5 points above, with some errors on both i guess 3 points.

So after a lot of talk with a bro from here (much love and thanks bro:huggg: ) im on my first time with coco and with salts, all blended on hydrobuddy, while also learning to do it without it, i love learning shit.

Coco Natural from Canna with 4 handfulls of perlite in 7L pots and ill will DTW with multiple feedings along the day, automated with sprayers (wich me luck :D)

Salts, the 3 of them cost me 80€, from what iv saw online in different countries, and other brand that suply themselves from Yara, i think it was a great price, at least there is one german online shop that sells the orange at 80€ so you get the picture

Also on the mail its coming mono micros, mkp and sop for further twicking and to aim x or y ratio, thinking on geting map and also calcium edta or other form too but for now thats it.
Being the newb that i am and proudly reping tha "We Newbin" and tha "You Stressin" i copied @BillFarthing recipe that he consider good for a all grow recipe and moistened the coco before poting the girls, lowered the ec to 1000 (1300 with my 280ec tap water) and thats it, but without the monomicros the ratios are not right tho.

For biostimulants i only have seaweed from Biobizz and some foliar from TopCrop. I have some root stimulator but it has 2% humic so im in doubt if i should.
If any european fellow know about a good fulvic acid and some aminos please say it loud :D!

Since all of this is new for me and im super anxious and afraid, the seeds are all freebies bulk seeds without bank except one
After 36h in a cup of water, and 24h poted up on temps of 24c and rh of 80% without extract but clipfan on for air movement and the light at 60cm, i present to you, born today,

Btw, even if the pump will only arrive next week the irrigation system is already assembled.
5m head pump and until now the system have 3.3m, further tweacking will happen to make it workable, plus a spare pump is also coming so i can use 2 if needed.
For the ones asking how i will spray the coco without habing water and coco everywhere i will "cover" the pots, there is one guy on Youtube doing the same, you get the picture.

Thanks bro, hope to see you around here more enjoying my newbiness :D
Yeah, i expected them to take more to sprout like the other grows and appart from the speed, that i think is not good, at least for now, i see the others slightly tall and perkier.

Sorry but i didnt understand your question, what hydrosystem?the sprayers??

Peace :tiphat:

Yeah, did u buy it or build your own?
A mix of both, basically i copied and paste :D
I wanted something already assembled, but at grow stores just one pump would cost more that i payed for the kit pump and power suply, all from aliexpress.

If you are asking why misters, because my handwatering in the other grows was with a 5l botle sprayer, misting those fuckers, and i like how it saturates the medium slowly and very evenly, so i wanted the same in this, wich and even fully slow saturation watering seems logical with coco and salt build up, at least in my newb head, also after looking online for anyone doing similar and found a guy on youtube doing it, i was convinced.

I saw a kit with a diaphragm pump, alot of psi, coper misters, filter too, around 50/60€, but those pumps are very noisy and i remembered @f-e talking about those trifasic dc brushless low noise with a good head and search for them, and got one with 5m head, not trifasic tho, but i think it will do the job.
The misters were choosed in plastic by the experience of @exploziv seeing some reaction with some things due to the coper.
Looked for a power supply and warehouses in europe with what i wanted to fasten the process and not take almost or even 2 months, and i was lucky for the only one kit that it exists, better luck was coming with so many things, european located tho, so copy paste and luck if everything works out.

Now im thinking on the reservoir (maybe 2 different sizes and profiles for different stages. Or maybe just a slim 60l one) and how to deal with the runoff and its storage and it influence in humidity by eveaporating and thinking on solenoid valves to open at specific time after watering to if i want to test it i can and then its gets washed passively, if i find on ali some that work without pressure, and since it closes i expect to lower the evaporation by a lot? Dunno

If you want i can give you the links of what i bought, around 50€ everything, that is a goodish pump in a hydro store, local or online.

Sorry for the rant, im high and sleepy :D

Peace :tiphat:

To be honest, and without any experience with this stuff, it seems sturdy and good enough for what it is and its 18€ cost, althoug, that white rubery slicony thing might get torned appart fast

Interesting thread Sampas.
I'm not sure a 5m head pump will make a spray. A diaphragm pump is likely 30 meters. Even a 15 euro one. Putting them near domestic water main pressure. Typically overkill for the home grower, but atomisation makes dripping look very easy.
I did try a 12v diaphragm pump at 9v and it was a lot better. Still loud as talking though. Went to use it a few months later and it was broken. It ran, but the cheap valves had distorted and so I lost any respect for the cheap brands.
You have a few good bits there, so you will get something working I'm sure. I wouldn't persist with the sprayers though, if it seems they are not even close to working.

Hi @f-e
Thanks. Yes after i bought the pump and reread your thread i got the sensation that it could not work with the misters because of low head, but i also read that using 2 pumps the head will stack, i have another one coming for spare, the future will tell but i would like for the misters to work :D

Bro u dont need mist, u just need about equal amounts of water from all "misters". Then, I don't think you even understand what 5m pump.head is, if you say your system is 3.3 meters or whatever. It's not lenght, it's level (pressure) diference of 5 meters.

Hey bro - is there any reason why you want to mist your medium?
I was wondering that too..when I water my 15l coco/perlite mix, I rush 5L of drink through it. The sound of air getting sucked through it,once the water sunk down is like the singing of the sirene's in my ears. Almost gets me horny...almost😄. At least im certain it pushed all the old shit out and not down one side, leaving pockets of old stuff or even dryspots behind.
I think specially on coco a quick saturation is important. Or a constant drip..I'd go with the halos if I'm not handwatering

Hey bro - is there any reason why you want to mist your medium?
The only reason is because i handwatered my older grows with a pressure spray bottle and liked how it saturates.

I dont have any experience on this, and only have 3/4 grows (bad ones) under my belt, so in my newb mind i think that the red dripers or even just the hose without dripers would not water the coco equaly in all the pot, but again, im inexperienced, so if you guys think that it would be better the red ones or even just the hoses ill try it too, so criticize hard and as you wish because im here to learn with everyone
