Yeah I know but it is hard to drop another 3 plus grand on plastic tubs n chillers. It is so simple n clean though it worth it. Diy is fine but I rather spend and have plug n play hassle free for me resourcing parts take to much time. I just dropped 5 g on new room equipment. It's done right though. Now only a system upgrade is needed. I just hate knats and disposing of used medium. Rather hit the drain with flushig water.
Damn bg the girls look super healthy bro. Rock on. Keep that shit bangn

Yep my room is a shit ton hotter and my roots are a shit ton smaller. I am thinking that my NON-DWC and higher temps help the PK ripen faster.

Your plants are looking bigger and stronger than my UC PKs. They may take 63 - 70 days, but you should average 10oz, especially if you put in longer PVC when you flush this weekend ;)

Peace, :joint:

Thanks everybody this run has been my funnest and easiest grow to date. The PK is the shit you couldnt ask for a easier strain to grow plus you get all them good stats along with it.
I was trimming my friends pk today and he let his go 65 days and they are A+ buds and they purpled up really nice with a 5 day flush. His temp highs are around 76f so may be thats it.
I added a 600 and my high temps are still only 78f-80f. Im not going to change anything besides pull apart the buckets some more since everything is going so well.
So what should we call these monsters trees or bushes ha ha

DAYUM! Those are some healthy looking plants. I think our cab is in the 80s so I'm not seeing any signs of purpling...yet hehe

Actually ran 4 "16" sites with 16k and it went well but couldnt use the space after one run. They are being put to great use now just not by me.

By good use you mean making sure the concrete floor doesn't float to the moon yes; almost all of the cool quiet air pumps failed with in six months and nice micro pore air stones do more than the pond diffuser which has been REMOVED. So really the UC idea of moving a bunch of total nute volume is cool.

But as we have seen Uniseals and PVC pipe combined with inline pumps are just a combination of existing parts. "This first section of the US Patent Act identifies three requirements in order for a patent to be awarded—the invention or discovery must be useful, novel and non-obvious."

Here is the deal with the UC it is useful, novel, and non-obvious; however DIY versions are better and more customizable. The UC helps many grow huge trees and these guys make a great product. They will have to continue to evolve because their product is easily duplicated improved upon.

I myself have moved to trash cans circa 1970's teck ;)

Dam the trim party went well just me and my buddy. Got pretty fucked up I dont know if it was the pk I smoked be for the trim or all the pk trimmin that got me buzzed. Dam good shit. HS you have to try the frosty I chopped 2 tops and 10 seconds into it my eyes were burning. Some strong shit as well.
Thanks everybody for the good vibes I just hope I have enough room in these little 8 gal buckets to get the job done.

damn bigGreen,. that shit is inspirational homie! quick ques for you. i've tracked down all the parts for that system, including the heller expensive danner AP-60 airpump. is that air pump worth getting? Better yet, if you were getting all the parts for that yourself, would you drop change for that pump or just go with the sunleaves for 50 beans??? and is that pump quiet? im' wonderin if thats why its so much monies...

SEEK UP, I built my own UC. I have the same question. I already bought the AP-100 but curious to see if it lasts. Ebay was the cheapest for it. But I built a 12 site system.

I like my Eco Plus 5 air pump. It puts out 88l per minute. It might be a little more noisy than the AP but they work! and the APs shit out.

I got my first UC installed in the late summer. I have 2 eight sights 1 12 sight and 1 16 sight. I've got the AP100 that came with the 12 still working, but both AP60 with the 8s are dead and gone. Also one other AP died with the guy who is borrowing one of my UCs.

They lasted less than 5 months! By comparison all of my Eco 5 are running strong :D

Peace, :joint:
