yes, you can rotate them from time to time to get an uniform light distribution on the plant, but if you have enaugh light, it's also ok if you don't move them.

almost all cannabis seeds have stripes, so it's not something particular or interesting.

and please don't bump the thread when is active enaugh already, and try to use the edit button if you need to ad something to a post, rather than line 2-3 messages, one after another. thanks.

the nutes you buy would depend on what you can find at the shops or where you plan to shop and the budget. i guess you could look around here at grow threads and try to remember what others are using, then go to the shops any buy the ones you can find.

if it's really warm, I'd recommend you to plant in soil, a container would get too hot and you would need to protect it somehow from the outside heat. roots don't like to get too cold or too hot.

it ok, just don't keep the can in full sun when it's too hot and keep soil a bit humid at all times.

I don't know if you went to the shop but if you haven't I'd suggest you get organic nutes they are more forgiving of mistakes

so is that soil fert free? if it is I would mix about a third perlite into it no more because you want the soil to hold some water.
go to the organic soil forum to find recipe for the blood/bone meal.
the thread is a sticky called organics for beginners.

...a little tip from a fellow new grower:

Look up the "lift method" on watering, it is so easy to over water on your first grow

Happy gardening :)

Looks like your thread really took off Grandad.

As for your question about when to use the liquid fish emulsion... What are the numbers on the fish fert? And how strongly concentrated is it? What is the ratio of fish fert to gallons of water?

If it has a decent amount of nitrogen then you'll probably want to use it mainly during the veg phase, and maybe thru the first few weeks of flower if your plant's growth starts to slow and it loses vigor.

I just noticed that you have a bag of cactus, palm, and citrus soil... If its the type of mixture I'm thinking of, its probably going to be much too sandy for cannabis roots to thrive in. a small amount is probably fine but I wouldn't use it as filler.

Good choice to go with the bone meal, I've found that it works excellently when added to the soil before planting and then as a top dressing during the first weeks of flower. It's high in both calcium and potash, calcium for a strong stalk and firm branches that support the weight of heavy buds, which is the work of the high potash content.

Thanks pengra, i got this instead, nd theres this one at the shop tht ima also get,

I also got super thrive

I went with

CM 45%
Perlite 30%

Blood meal 4 ts,

Bone meal 6 ts, nd hand mixed the soil.

Two ts, then mix another two ts, nd repeat,

Do i have to let it sit or can i put seeds in the soil,

i just did it yesterday nd i used rain water for the 1st soak

nd how do i use the fish em? Diluted in a watering can?
