Generally around week 1-2 I start to introduce small amounts of nutes to my plants. On the larger older ones like that one maybe start with a 25% strength dosage of nutes with your watering if your not already. Also make sure your testing your pH before giving it to your plants, this is something I neglected at first when I started growing but I was giving my plants really alkaline water and after I corrected my plants seemed to do a lot better.
EDIT: I don't think roots visible at the bottom means root bound, When you pop the plant out and the roots are going up and down the side of the container your probably getting there.
Yeah that may be true, the usual test that I do is sticking my finger about a 1/2 inch into the soil to and if it's moist, it usually doesn't need water. And as a matter of fact, after just doing this test, she does seem thirsty. She drinks a lot it seems; however I may need to water her more thoroughly than I have been.
I haven't fed the plant's yet, it seems the soil has enough nutes in it to begin with (I'm using Scott's premium). I was going to wait until she had 5 nodes to feed and seeing as she doesn't look def in anything, I tend to go by the rule "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
About the pH, I actually need to go out and get a pH tester. I don't have the money right now for the digital tester but I figured I could use the good old fashioned liquid pH tester that we used back in HS chemistry, lol. Do you think they'll have that at a nursery? Probably at Walmart/HD/Lowe's?
