the smell now is out of control at day 42/43, the 2 DIY methods i was using dont work anymore, odorsok and vaportronic on their way. also got the radio shack mini microscope to check the clear-cloudiness of my girls in the morning.

well i just checked my girls with the scope and most are clear, one did have a cloudy head here and there. im getting so anxious now waiting for 2 weeks to roll through...still no sex on the last chem d/sour d, im going to assume female since its taking so long....on a side note, the 2 chem males i took out and put into a shoebox with no light managed to continue to develop with no light at all, weird, but i guess that could be a sign of how vigorous the strain is.

The cxb males I had were bent in half at the main stem and shoved into black garbage bags, I opened the bag five days later before i disposed of them and they were are all thriving and there were no signs of damage on them LOL. Yeah some plants are just vigorous thats for sure.

no more nutes, have started water with molasses only feedings. still no plant or bug issues other then the spotlight effect burning leaves as i rotate my plants. another funny thing a found out, 12/12 straight for seed doesnt always work...i grew my chem d/sour d 4 inches in vegg then flipped it into flower now at 2 weeks its just as tall as the rest - its been in 12/12 longer then 2 weeks but flowering for 2....still no mold issues, which is good because the MODs have nice thick hard buds. theyll go in for the 48hr dark treatment at the end of day 63, ka-chop on 65. all will be done on time it looks like except for one of the jacks rhinos, plus plenty of resinated trim for some nice bubble hash. good times....

12/12 from seed is risky some times... Im all into cloning, but even with seeds, I would go 18/6 simply to have a good control of final high.

so when people say day 65 of flowering, are they talkin about from the first day of 12/12 or from the first sign of flowers?

65 days from when the pistils first show. technically my chem d/sour d has been in 12/12 for 4 or 5 weeks, but 3 of that it didnt show anything. i assumed flowering at 4 inches would keep the stretch down but i was wrong. the advantage for that girl though is she'll be the only one in there for awhile so she have some room to spread.

If the plant has the maturity, it will be a question of a few days to show flowers after it is changed to 12/12.
Outdoor you cant change to 12/12 Muahaha so you will get your idea by spotting flowers.
I start to count since 12/12 as so many growers do.

Anyway we cant be so mathmatical about nature... Get youself a little microscope and see the trics maturation! Thats the thing!

im not sure i can answer that one... best i can come up with is when i started this grow, the LOCxG13s were vegged about a month under cfls with just water and it took a week for all of them to show sex. with coming frome 12/12, all 3 males showed after 2 weeks of 12/12, the female after 3. it just takes longer for them to develop because their structure is a little bit premature. if you ask that in the 12/12 from seed thread you prolly could get a more solid answer but i think im pretty close.

I wanna say if you only veg for two weeks it still takes time for the plant to become mature enough to show its sex. I have tried vegging for only two weeks then flower and the plants still vegged out in the 12/12 cycle for another three weeks before they showed their organs.

Not 3, but 5 week from germination!
I gess its a good standard for sex definition as the same happened to me... but it can vary... and a lot if were talking about some sativas.
Clones are so resposive because of the maturity!

If you're talking about a point of change of 18/6 to 12/12 to try too speed it up the most and not risking have mediocre yeld, than i guess 3 week of 18/6 with a good lamp with be a great start!

techincally 62 but i wont be able to update tomorrow or friday...due to outside circumstances im going to have to let them go 70 days instead of 65...the runt MOD looks to be purpling very slightly on the edge of its leaves so hopefully some more color wil come out.

fcuking a...nevermind...cant post pics...i guess next update will be the ka-chop.
after they come out the chem d/sour d will get a new bucket, and ill be starting my six seedlings in veg on nutes. i have 2 bottle rockets, 3 swt#3s, and one LOCxG13 out of nineteen total seeds germed. hopefully ill get a female of each, and luckily a female and male bottle rocket so i can make myself some f2s. until next week enjoy the holidaze
