Great to be back!!

At the moment, I'm running a Pineapple Express x Cheese N Chaze from Bueno Time in one side of the cab and have 5 Spice of Life - Blue Satellite 2.2 seeds in soil in the other side. No sprouts from the BS2.2 yet but I'm still hoping for the best. The cab itself is still pretty much the same, my methods of growing have been changing a little though.

I'm now running a single 10g Geopot with organic living soil which I plan to use as no till containers. I have 12 more going in my 3 x 600w tents with one more with no plant in it. I'm going to be running Tropf Blumats in all parts of my grows now. The rest of the parts I need to set them up will be here tomorrow so I'll have them setup sometime this week. Pics of that install to come.

So far this plant is responding quite well. I feel once the blumats are installed, it's really going to take off and free up more of my time. At the moment, I'm more so looking for potential mothers and going to chuck some pollen depending on m/f ratios. When I start running clones, my plan is to use the scrog screens from my past grow.

I have a strong feeling now that I'm going with blumats, I may use this cab as a seed grow out space to run through some of this seed collection I've acquired. That way, I can mother hunt through an array of different strains. Put the mothers up top and then run their clones in my 3 tents. If I ever finish running seeds, I'll start running clones in here as well. Figure with mod scrogs and up to 14 x 10g pots available, I can get a nice constant variety of strains and smoke for the wife and I.

Guys I need some help picking a ballast. Yes I know I asked this already but in light of new things I learned I'm even more confused lol.

That's using closer to 190w then 150w! PF 0.99% my @ss lol.

Which made me think. What the hell kind of 150w ballast can I get that actually gets close to using 150w?! lol

So I'm currently looking at this ballast, the EB150SON ( http://www.grow-expert.com/en/ball-eb150son-150-watt-remote.html ) which says it'll use max 163w but calculating the ampere usage of 1.11 on 230v I'm not getting anywhere near 150w, closer to 230w actually lol.
(I was actually looking at this kit www.grow-expert.com/en/set-150-watt-ball-remote-sylvania-grolux-type-mirror.html which I think contains the ballast I mentioned above but I have no idea how much power it uses, I really want something as close to actual 150w as possible)

Can someone please explain how this works, what all of these things mean (like THD and such, and how much power this would actually consume) and point me into the right direction of a kit (I need a proper lamp (growth and bloom) and a backup lamp, reflector and ballast for a setup like Pipedream has, a simple closet hydro setup) or some single items I should get that are sold in Europe or are shipped cheaply so I'm not paying 150 bucks for the unit and 200 bucks for shipping .

Hey Everybody!

Been a while since i posted up some pics here (haven't been flowering recently) and just converted back to a horizontally positioned 150w HPS.

Most of my plants are in 1/2 gal grow bags, others are in solo cups.
Some are in Coco, some are in Fox Farm Ocean Forest, some are in a mix of both.
Moving to a perpetual harvest schedule where i pop seeds on a regular cycle and harvest on a regular interval.
Plants will go into the cab on one side, moving over when new plants are introduced until they reach the other side and are harvested!

This is an auto version made by @offthehook. I can't really say if it's minty I use it to breed for toughness, I ran a good bunch od last year 58N. To bad one can't share seeds here..

Well I wasnt sure about the germrate on the Finola x Dr /Auto Ak x Pek x DR but now I´m pretty confident its a good one. I intend to keep all plants and use some of the pollen to take a short cut and use these seeds od this year ( Finola x Dr /Auto Ak x Pek x DR) X (White pineapple x Bubbilicious x Onyx x Sour Rocket 60/ White pineapple x Bubbilicious x Onyx). Those fucking strain names are driving me nuts.

The PExCC in the one side of the cab turned out to be male so it got the chop a few days ago. The wife was kind enough to put together 8 breathable bags for the cabs new function. Seed runs. With the measurements, they were to hold about 5g. They hold QUITE a bit more than that it seems. Everything is pretty much in place. Just want to wait another week or two before starting seeds to allow the mix to decompose a little more.

The Blumat mains have been run to each container. Just need to water them well and add the sensors/distribution drippers and they'll be good to go. Plan to do that today.

Super excited to get some seed runs going. Thinking 4 seeds of 2 different strains. Mainly looking for potential mothers. Quite a few strains to choose from plus looking to place a few orders for more. Will be running full speed in the next week or two.
