Stevius - Thanks for the compliments, Stevius. :D Yea, these babies are triching up really nicely. Their smell is just phenomenal too; kinda like the last run's but only 2x more pungent. thanks for stopping by!

SirSmokalot - :friends: Right back at ya, Sir! :respect:

VerdantGreen - Thanks V! :) Loving what's in your cab too. ;)

hermanshooltz - Mmmm... :yummy:, that would sound great! Your cab would be perfect for it too. I can already imagine a bunch of 16oz Solo cups in there, each packing a nice and fat single cola. :canabis: Thanks for stopping by!

bengie187 - Looking good too, bengie. I see your mother has grown itself a robust foundation for cloning. :jump: Keep trying with the cloning thing... :petting: It took me a few tries to get it right myself when I first started. Keep up the good work. :headbange

WOW!!
Great job Pontiac bro!
Mighty fine... Mighty fine indeed.
It looks like you could put more in next time.. less space between them would free up some hydroton for ya to cover the tops better to get rid of that algae. Also- I always tear off the plastic from around my cubes before I put them in my buckets. Just some thoughts..

Peace and kindness bro

Anima - Thanks Amima! :D True, I too am beginning to think that I should raise the plant count, as it seems to be the opinion of a couple of other viewers here as well. As long as vegetative time is kept at zero, stretch will be at a minimum since they won't have the stored energy to do so... So I too think adding a few more clones will prove more efficient... :chin:
I like to leave the plastic on the rockwool because the plastic forces the roots to grow downwards and prevents them from protruding sideways. This greatly reduces the roots' contact with surface parasites/problems like algae, salt buildups, and insects. A while back I dug through some hydroton to check on the roots and they were nice and white; just the way I like 'em. Thanks for stopping by, my Ebb&Flow-Bro! :friends:

DiscoBiscuit - Yea these babies just exploded after I added the pink steroids :biglaugh: haha. As long as I keep feeding it to them at about half-strength, I think the plants will just eat it up without getting stressed or burned (as depicted). ;) Can't wait to see how the pink stuff works for your babies when you get around to using it. :lurk: Thanks for stopping by! :friends:

here's some zombie virus I copped at day 64. I used the pink stuff half strength ~day 42 only. Future plants will get dosed twice at second and third trimesters.

Updating later tonight

Updating later tonight

bengie187 - :listen2: I fed them koolbloom the moment I noticed several amber colored hairs. This observation occurred on my day 33 update, which was a bit over half way into flowering. As previously mentioned, too little is better than too much. :2cents: Thanks for stopping by!

DiscoBiscuit - Holy guacamole! Hell yea disco! As the saying goes: Don't judge a nute by its color. :biglaugh:

Dr Dog - Thanks Doc! :respect: You KNOW I'm dropping in some OGA goodness :yummy: as soon as I get my hands on some. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Peat - Haha, I guess I spoke to soon! The girls are really starting to stink up the whole place. For this, they must be punished with a swift harvest. :muahaha:

raphaelwilliams - It depends on your definition of a good yield. As a person who consumes well under an ounce a month, :YaRight: I feel this setup is perfect for my needs. I recall with my 400w HPS grow, I yielded 8.25oz in my first shot, but ended up with a surplus of weed for a while. So my advice is, figure out your consumption rate and build a setup around that. :whip: Thanks for stopping by!

shroomyshroom - Yea I was pretty bummed out with the characteristics of the first round... :frown: Yield was ok, but that round hardly had the traits of a true SOG. In a SOG I shouldn't have to worry too much about height, trimming, bending/snapping, etc. I can't imagine how much worse it would've been if I did indeed veg for even 2 more days. :yoinks:
On the other hand, in this round things are much different. :jump: I have a nicely dense and even canopy; :canabis: they just look beautiful. Just goes to show that the right veg time can make a HUGE difference. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Asil - I'm just adding in koolbloom at half strength to every gallon of water in the reservoir; disregarding the primary blooming regimen. Glad to see you're jumping aboard the pink wagon too. :D Good luck with your imminent harvest.

darrinjefferson - Thanks DJ! :) That dial is getting closer and closer to the right position as the days pass. I'm a big fan of your stuff, so keep up the good work as well.

DAY 50 (Flowering DAY 50/56)
6 :canabis: DAYS REMAINING UNTIL HARVEST
Avg Height: 5.06", Photoperiod On/Off: 12hrs/12hrs,
Temp In/Out/Res: 77F/76F/75F, Humidity: 42%,
Ph: 5.94, TDS: 675ppm @ 0.5 conversion.

Doing another late night update... :drum:

Well we're almost there folks. :) Most of leaves are naturally turning yellow (a few are actually starting to fall off), indicating that the clones are nearing the end of their life cycle. The only thing left to do is flush em I guess, which I plan on doing immediately after this update. Basically they'll get a 6 day flush with Clearex and Floralicious Bloom at full strengths before I finally chop them down. :puppydoge

Mazar Kush clones about to go through a 6 day flushing regimen before harvest.

I'm surprised I was able to raise the TDS to this elevated level without causing any damage. A concentration of 675ppm is quite high for clones their sizes, yet they seemed to have accepted it by fattening up without a hitch. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Mazar Kush is a very hardy (more like hungry :biglaugh:) strain; my guess is most Kushes are anyway. :chin:

She sure does love her Koolbloom for breakfast.

Well I won't be doing much more talking this update, ;) so here are some more budporn for you all: :jerkit:

2nd clone from left (above).

Btw, I just got a brand new GE Lucalox HPS lamp (I know, a little too late for this round :D) and I must say it's worth the extra money. :2cents: This thing burns noticeably brighter and spectrally fuller than the piece of crap that came with my reflector. It's also cooler running (cab temps are 2-3 degrees F lower on average) and fully warms up in half the time of the default lamp (under a minute). I gotta hand it to Edison's company; they sure know how to build a fine bulb.

A new 150w GE Lucalox HPS lamp (medium base).

Anyway, that's all for now. :frown: I hope to see you all in 6 days for the long awaited conclusion of this round. :canabis: 'Till Then, take care!
