14 days flowering turning yellow

He said he's feeding 2mL per liter, which is around 7.5mL per gallon. That's a good place to be. Canna line is a bit low in N and he's only using a 400, meaning the lower half of the plant wasn't getting light. Not a difficult case to in my inexperienced eyes.

I would've recommended exactly what you did Martin. Just slightly increase feeding and clear out the bottom brush that doesn't get good lighting. Perfect timing too, as I'm under the impression that giving the plant a good lollipopping should wait until the stretch is over.

Thanks for confidence boost!! :D

So after 3 days from yellowing panic things seem nice and green again. Probably fed them too much after that because both girls showed some Nitrogen toxicity, aka "the claw" (leaves curling down and thin). So with yesterdays feeding went back to 2 ml A / B per liter and 0.5 ml PK 13/14

So here they are today after lights on. Looking all pretty and perky :) What do you think: should the formulating pre-flowers should be bigger by now? Or am I just impatient?!

Day 18 of flowering (2 and half weeks). 400W HPS 1m x 1m x 2m grow tent.

And they are still stretching. I hope it ends soon! :)

Great to hear that your grow is recovering quickly.

You can see that the old affected leaves stopped growing and are overshadowed by new growth. That's characteristic of K deficiency, which I presume the P/K 13/14 is remedying.

If you remove those leaves, the rest of the plant will grow even faster, because right now the plant is still using energy trying to repair them. Being damaged, they're also more vulnerable to insect and bacterial/fungal attack.

Anyway it's great to see the grow recovered.

Day 22 of flowering. I can say now finally the stretch is over (or slowed down anyways!) :) She is a big girl with lots of potential bud-sites. The second plant has been weaker and more lanky, but also has 7 tops ready-to-go. The pre-flowers are forming all over, but no frost yet (when I grew in past with CFL-s the frost was seen on plants even 14-21 days?!) Anyways I hope my 400W HPS is enough for them and I can get my first ever HPS buds! :D Can`t wait...

I can`t put the 600W inside there, as I don`t have exhaust venting there. Also the temps are already around 87F (31C) at top of plants. So I hope the 400W will do justice to them! :) Pics below!

I switched (years ago) from 1Kw/sqm of HPS to 1Kw/sqm of CFL; i can't confirm enough on the frost effect. Your ladies look promising, they terminated the stretch rush. Let's see the ping pong balls now (until you don't show them, don't push the PK to 1ml/l). All the best for your harvest.

Thanks Fuel for kind suggestions! I won`t push the P/K before the buds swell a bit! 1Kw/sqm of CFL - wow I would like to see how that fits to 1 sqm! :)

some lights-out shots this time. Ending of week 4. Things seem good and on the tright track. But now I noticed some new yellowing going on in top-leaves. Shouldn`t be yellowing this soon, as I have 4-5 weeks to go, or what you think? I am still feeding Canna A+B 2ml / 1L and Canna P/K 13-14 0.5ml / 1L . If any ideas, please do let know!

I'm glad to see things ate getting better. When I first read your post I noticed you don't feed enough and seemed like you are treating coco like soil. Don't let the coco dry out and get yourself a moisture meter and keep her in th moist zone. My guess is feeding every other day is letting things dry out way too much

Hey. Im feeding them once a day usually when lights go on. When lifting the pots they feel around half of the full weight. So Im not letting them super dry. I don`t have the ppm meter, I only PH between to 5.6 - 6.3...you think they are hungry? Im gonna up the PK in few days to 1ml/1L , but I dont think thats gonna make yellowing go away....

Get yourself a moisture meter they are like $10. A ph of 5.6 is low. 6.0- 6.4 in flower is what you want. Feed them more or more often. I would go with more often because I run drippers and it's easy for me to do so. Like i said before you are drying out too much and when you do so with coco, you get salt build up. If you are going to stay with your same feed schedule get way more run off like 30% or so
