Yo Sleep, did you see Will Farrell impersonate Ronnie Van Zandt to close The Tonight Show w/ Conan? And yes, he had his cowbell. Nice looking plants, btw. Hope you get the temp thing worked out.

i took a few pics of the poor girl...sorry, no tape measure...

and then trimmed her up a bit...

have fed with BioBloom; liquid karma; silica blast; and hygrozyme...adjusted to pH 6.0...

so now i know what a plant goes though with heat stress...this is becoming a very educational experience...

peace.

hey sleepy - looking good.

about the heater. it might be worth looking into a 'greenhouse' fan heater. these have quite accurate thermostats and are also designed to be water resistant which is handy. they are a bit more money but they work really well. i used to use one and i could hear it switching off and on all night - sometimes for just half a minute or so.

funny u should mention that cuz i was watching it too and soon as he busted out that cowbell i thought damn i wonder if sleepy is seeing this!!! I was loving it.

Btw them plants are lookin super bushy and great internode spacing! Can't wait to see how they do for u in flowering now. Soon as u finish up your log i might be puttin in an order....i gotta put away the 400w hps once my baby boy is born and move the veg area into a smaller space where heat is a factor. This might be exactly what i need to deal with the heat and still get nice bushy plants. Keep up the great job!!!:smokeit:

Been in that boat myself, now my son is 2 and he's already an amazing horticulturalist!!! He wakes up every morning, first grabs his trucks, and then its time to go see his babies (clone area) and mist them before having breakfast and watching WordWorld... Its our daily routine. Hehe

Peace

Those plants are about 2+ months old now? Not impressed at all. I've read the thread and i have no intention to troll or disrespect Sleepy. Things are going really slow with LEDs is it possible they elongate the flowering cycle too?

I believe he had some problems with cold in his cellar growbox since LEDs don't produce much heat. That supposedly stunned growth. Heater was added.

update...

SuperAngel>>yes, you are correct...they look small...i had some problems with environmental controls early on...it was way too cold in my basement from the get go...this is all part of the learning curve...every other cycle i have runhas had ample heat...probably a bit too hot at times...the slow growth from my stubbornness is definitely obvious...
i am making no excuses! it is not the lights' fault, it is mine!

so...here are 3 pics of each plant...

the first plant is the one that suffered the heat damage...she is making a comeback!

they all look nice and lush...all have shown hairs...not much else going on...i will feed again tonight with BioBloom; Liquid Karma; Silica Blast; Cal-Max; and Hygrozyme...i am feeding everything with the pH adjusted to 6.5

have a nice weekend!:smokeit:

I can't even begin to tell you how many people think that al you have to do is throw a seed in the ground and magically you have a pound of pot. Well, we all seem to learn more from our mistakes than we ever learn from other people's advice

Yepp the way the herb grows definitely isn't set in stone ;) I'm also well aware how a single misstep can set you back a week or two. Should be good when you get it dialed in
PS: Sorry if my sentences sound akward: english is not my native language.

those plants look good Sleepy.
my exp running from seed is not much goes on for the first month. I veg under floros, so maybe more light would make em go faster. Throw in having to recover from any little thing and add a couple more weeks like SA^ said.
Heck the show's just getting started here.

updating....

zeppelindood:...thanks, zep..ITS GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK AND POSTING...YOU HAVE BEEN MISSED BY A LOT OF US!!!
PetFlora:...yep...i used to work for a fella that would tell me: "If you are not making mistakes, you are not trying hard enough"...sometimes it is very challenging...the rewards make it well worth it, though!:dance013:
SuperAngel:...thank you for posting that! it is true in any language!!:huggg:
hazy:...yep, we jus' gettin' started ...hehehe
chuckyoufarley:...meh...i would say "no", since adding the heater, i have traded heat for light in the electricity consumption dept...but that's fine with me...i just want to see if i can produce the buds my other light does...if i can, everything is going to change...growers NOT in the basement will find the perfect solution for cabinets/small spaces that don't require supplemental heating...little budlets are just starting to form, so we should have a pretty good idea in about 6-8 weeks...thanks for always coming to my grow with the positivity!!!
#1cheesebuds...uhhh....its a 126 watt LED light engine from http://www.hydrogrowled.com/ LEDGirl sent it to me to test...it looks like this:

TickleMyBalls:...thanks, man...don't forget the taint, either!! hehehe
b00m:...thanks, bOOm!!, glad to have you along for the ride.
Stevius!!...hey man, wanna share that popcorn? hehehe

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

so i was down there checking things out this morning and i took a few pictures for you all...some little budlets are beginning to form...all four plants are showing lots of white hairs...and they look pretty good...

and this is the one that suffered the heat stress:

peace!

Stevius
