Tying them down soon.
Just an updated.
No single pictures of the ladies until I give them a shower when lights go out tomorrow. They're way to dusty for show...stupid drywall dust making it through the air vents.. Thats ok it didnt hurt them before I hope it doesnt now..
Anyways, Im getting some leaf curling. The outside edges is curling toward the light on a couple leaves.. how do I get this to stop?
ALSO, from top to bottom, left to right, 2nd row, 2nd one, you see the tweak in the leaf?? Is that from my powering going out for a couple hours the other night??
Nice and BIG picture .. You can see the leaf curl im talking about in the plant 2nd from the left closes to camera. Look at all the leaves and you'll find the one im talking about.. a couple more also, you can see in the pics..
The leaf curl will happen mate - you could try giving them a mist with water every now and again. It's a plant mechanism where they curl their leaves up in a bid to trap humid air and lower their rate of transpiration. (if you wish to read more about general plant adaptations to low humidity - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xerophyte ain't too bad for the basics - notice the curled leaves is mentioned).
Anyway - I've had it lots and it doesn't seem to hurt the girls. Here's a good shot of one of my girls who did it.
Very nice addition BT ... the plants are looking very healthy.
I too have a garage room here in CA. with Medical certification to go with it.
Mine is plywood much lower tech than your full walls. If in So CA you most likely have the A/C installed. The reason for my post being I upped my illumination to 1200w also 2 digi ballasts in my 4x5 room. For a perenial crop (I harvest every 60 or so days) you might want to add a a small veg/clone cab. T-5's work well for this. I also have been using Biobizz nutes with good stable results (noting the demands of each strain grown).
I'm not using A/C nor do I see a reason too (yet). My max temps are about 82 and thats on a hot day. The walls are insulted and the garage stays pretty cool. The ventilation is great but I guess we'll see with the days to come!
I know lots of places in So. cal are very warm but not where i'm at.. nice cool ocean breeze 24/7. ;D
I cleaned my intake vents, anything surrounding them, the pots, and the leaves, as well the grow space.
Its almost all gone.. it sure is a bitch though!!
Plants HONESTLY are not looking at great as I supposed. I really am starting to see some stretching and I dont know .. they're not as pretty as I was hoping but maybe the end result will be
bterzz your room looks good. i also run 1200watts tho my thread says 2200watts. the extra 1000 is too expensive.
keep it up, your ladies are looking really good.
i made a mister wand outta some pvc pipe and some mister caps, a water pump on a timer controls it, it come on twice a day and keeps my humidity from going to far down,
