I read the entire thread of 12/12: A Different Way to Grow earlier today, and seeing this reaffirms the fact that a veg period can be either very little or non-existent and still yield great results. If you can keep things healthy for another month or so, you are gonna have a nice yield of quality smoke. Keep up the good work, you're in the home stretch. :joint:

Ok this is my opinion....that happens to my plants everytime...the plant looks like its getting near end of bud and its using its stored up energy it has saved. I really wouldnt be giving it anymore N then normal. keep it on the same nutes, when my plants are ready to harvest almost all my major fan leaves have turned yellow and almost died off. IMO it is perfectly normal. Plants look fine for what stage they are in...keep up the good work

I think 12/12 is a great method when using a 250. The light penetration with a 250 is fairly weak. I think anything further then 10-12 inches from the bulb is a waste of time. When going 12/12 from seed plants will definetly stay short. They will grow in veg for about a month or so then revert to flower when they are sexually mature. Indica dominant strains would be perfect for the method, as for your Northern Lights. Sativa strains will get bigger, you just got to train the shit out of them and prune. Keep budsites close to the bulb and get nice results with your 250.

Nice grow! ===~~

When i look at your plants i judge to time it has left by the buds on the plant. Now you have gone from 12/12 and really i have no expierence with when the plant actually went into flowering stage and how long they normally take. But when i look at your plant it looks like mine do with the bud production at that level. the lower leaves start turning yellow and dying off. It spreads up the plant as the plant uses it N build up to produce more sugars and resin into the buds. By the time almost all the "Major" (not all the little ones too) fan leaves turn yellow and seem to die off the bud has almost reached full maturity. This also makes curing time faster and makes for a smoother toke...for alot of the N build up and other nutes have already been taken away from the plant.
Now this is all my opinion....i have seen many grows up close other then mine, and all have them have done this. No grower i know trys to keep the whole plant FLUSH green through out the flowering stage...way to much N for flower. because N is manly used in the Veg state, when the plant is focused on gorwing more shoots, more nodes, bigger leaves, ect. ect. They want P and K alot more then N when budding to produce plump and resinous buds. Not to produce more fan leaves, nodes, shoots..ect..ect.
Dont fret man...your plant is doing exactly what it is suppose to be doing! I promise you...it looks completely fine!
