Im currently building a DoubleD MPB also.

15 plants, 20k light

Not sure its needed, maybe overkill imo. The wherehouse over there is in 5 gallon buckets and dude was pulling as much if not more than the mpb's. I just like the simplicity. I think it's success is all about the 1k on each side, no?

yeah pretty much, his system is oversized IMVHO, I mean for plants vegged 3 weeks I don't see the point in having 20-30 gal tubs, when you can get the same off a 5-10 gal one.

it works obviously, I chose not to run it, but I believe that the biggest key to success that doubleds utilizes isn't the system, but rather the room setup and environment.

Plants are vegged under a 1k hps horizontal (hydro), then flipped after 3 weeks where they get CO2, ~4 vertical 1k hps per plant, in a very large, fast flowing hydro system.



3+ lbs per can be done with several systems, i like his style I really do, I just don't want to see people get hung up on his system when its the other factors that are most important to yield like that.




take his mpb's and run em horizontal, or with a single 1k hps per plant, and no co2. if they still yielded crazy then I would make the switch, but i doubt they would. love the dude's style though and hes obviously got his shit dialed in, maybe just not for me is all.

its something new, have never tried this way. i am scared as i have 0 experience with dwc, but hey, there plenty on info on here.

i figure if you can yield crazy with such low numbers, why not? if the cops come, they wont pull them, to low numbers.......

im also going to outfit my mom rooms soon with this system....

Honestly I spend more time than I care to admit reading in these forums and the others.

Personally that warehouse "dude" that just chopped was pulling at least the same #'s as DD's wouldn’t you agree? The warehouse grow was a 5 gallon dtw with almost identical vertical lighting blueprint. I don’t know it seems simpler with the dtw and I think the supercharged environment and the 4k per plant is the majority of it. Just food for thought sorry for all the gibberish.

Also if and when you go with DD’s system I’m sure you will master it in no time, all your previous grows make that very apparent.

ok, decided that i needed a trimming machine, so i bought a trim reaper, i like it so far, it does a good job.....

i would say yes, although it dosent give the best trim, is pretty damn decent at trimming, may run dry buds through it for a sec to take any extra leaf off. it got me trimming again! i haven't trimmed in over a year, it makes it very simple and a bit more active, so your back dosent hurt. ill make a final decision when its all over.

im converting these rooms over to the doubles, going to start building this weekend. have to order all the fittings still. cant wait!

its hit a miss with me, it depends on what i have available in my veg room. most the time, i dont have enough plants, never had to many yet. im still trying to figure it out! a stretchy plant with higher numbers will be the best yielder. a casy jones?

The wharehouse is sick...Bad just hasnt given much info into the system....I think those wharehouse plants were vegged longer than 3 weeks....If I vegged my MPB's for 6 weeks my plants would be 7-8 ft tall..

Yeah man let me know how that reaper works out im on the fence about getting one. looking forward to some post reaper shots without touch-up. I know lazyman or someone got one recently and LOVED IT but I always like to hear from a few different katz to make a more informed decision.
