..... I'm not looking forward to the influx of newbies this site can expect in the coming years after pot has been decriminalized.

But ICMag will still have the best info out there available to those newbies.

..... and trolls will always be trolls..... maybe it's best to repackage them as folks who talk back and make you think?:moon:

Ive been here the past 10 years.

ICmag taught me to grow. I started small and slowly finished my room and growing lots and good canabis. I'll have to see if I still have old photos of my grows and show the improvements over the years. I'll see if they are in the archives....:woohoo::thank you:

Thank you ICMag

I don't live in a med state. I have no friends that grow.
IC is a place I can come to learn, research, and teach others about one of my favorite things to do. IC has been priceless in that regard. Its not what it was before, but nothing ever is....

I've never looked any of you guys in the eye, but there are quite a few people I would call a friend, and would love to share a beer with.

But yea, time flies.

I think websites like Laughing Moon, Cannabis World, hempqc, Cannabis Culture ... etc. etc. also including High Times - and, of course, IC Mag - have all helped towards the re-legalization of Cannabis.

Though it does seem like in some states, they tie users up in a straitjacket of regulations, codes, etc.

When common sense is a better guide.

I feel like things may be going towards a wider legalization in 2020. I think this year's November 2014 vote in Oregon will be sort of like a 'canary in a coal mine', an indicator of the progress towards re-legalization.

Thank you - to the Real OGs

Thank you - to the Real OGs

I would like to express my deepest gratification for all the OGs on ICMag!

:respect:

Thank you for everything you have done for the cannabis community.

This site is more than a plethora of knowledge available at our finger tips - its an escape from a harsh reality we are forced to experience.

I feel the pain the OP expresses seeing so many members banned or guests who you once knew.

It is a blessing to be on ICMag and enjoy the spoils and share your hard work!

Definitely would benefit with a new spark - any plans in the works the admins can chime in on?

Good Vibes blessings and much love to everyone! :tiphat:

Perhaps if members known to have passed away could get a "departed" or "RIP" under their names?

Perhaps members who've not posted for a long time (say 3 months or a year) get an "inactive for 1 year" under their names, or just "inactive"?

if member's last active date > 100 days then display "inactive for 100+ days" under user name

I'm no coding expert, obviously :) But this is the kind of coding I imagine it would take to get this done.

or, more ideally: if member > a dick then cause user's pc to catch fire... or something like that. :) That would take care of a lot of trolling issues right there! hehehe

This place is a treasure trove of info, with minor bullshit in between.
Only site I really frequent since overgrow went down.
Not to say I haven't visited other "trendy" sites, but the fad subsides and I come back.
A lot of folks just switch nicks trying to stay hidden, it's almost a full time job trying to stay on top of who is who.
But yeah, a lot of the members I looked up to and enjoyed reading and learning from are non existent, life is change.

10 years for me too on the 27th of January, I meant to make a post about it on that day but in typical fashion I forgot all about it. :bongsmi: The site has changed a lot in all those years, for better or worse is subjective I suppose but I've got many great memories of the time I've spent here and the friends you make during that time are often still around in one way or another

10 years though, it's hard to believe it's been that long. I feel older just typing this. Hears to another 10 years then, special thought goes out to Gypsy, hope he will be able to join us gain soon

9 years, 2 months and 8 days for me. Sure have had a lot of fun and have met some really great people and only 1 dickhead along the way. Lot of old members I sure do miss seeing on the boards. Was a lot of fun in the early days. Times have changes. You couldn't even talk about marijuana in public places with people and now it's blasted all over the tv with people in support of it. My how times have changed. About the only thing that hasn't changed is the DEA's fucked up policy in regards to it.

Just for comparisons sake, here's some pics of Lonestar's Killer Queen he used. Fruity smell, heavy yield, and looks like a snow storm crossed paths with it.
