I think if you have been growing 15 years already, then looking into some different strains would be a good idea. Many different strains are suited to different styles of grows and growers, and some strains just don't yield much for anyone. There is a hundred little things that could help yield, but with you being an experienced grower, above all I think some new genes would help you achieve a bigger yield. Also remember that Indicas are not the only way to huge yield , some Sativas and hybrids out yield most of the popular Indicas of today. Anyway good look!

genetics.. lol. I have 1 kind that no matter watcha do .. u get tiny little golfball sized colas .. the buds super dense.. stinks like a mofo and crystally as shit.. smokes great too.. but never had a nug bigger then like 5 inches dry.. would still b 7 grams.. so my yield will suffer.. if I don't top the shit out of this strain..

I have an ak47 .. that if u top it young.. and grow nice branches .. and don't crowd the plants together.. u get these nice 20 oz soda bottle colas.

ive had buds the size of a football of some sativa fluffys.. and tiny little golfball sized buds..

im going to be grabbing a few strains that im going to go threw 40-50 seeds lookin for the best yielding and crystaliest potent plant. and run that for a little.... I really am lookin to find something that consistently will toss out fatttt colas of dense stinky buds ..

but then again . I use BioCanna nutes.. sometimes adding foxfarms solubles.. but the grows with biocanna the yields were smaller then chem nutes.. but were soo much tastier nad stinkier.

hope this helps but i think the culprit is something small and underlooked. shop for strictly outdoor seeds ( do this by looking at others outdoor grows note the strains that you like; and making sure that the growers = climate is similar to yours) and most important that the strain will finish in where you live
