i am wondering if 1o gallons of nutrient into a 50 gallon open bottom smartpot is enough to feed a plant....i am doing a couple organic holes, but will be using forfarm grow and bloom primarily...

i can water anytime as its a legal backyard grow, but i can only afford 1 5 gallon each jug of bloom and grow.

i worked out that i can feed 12 times with 10 gallons a time in 10 fifty gallon smart pots.so with 5 gallons of each in bloom and grow i could feed through the whole season at this tare...

can anyone help me with this question?ill be growing in promix

could you do it? yes
is it enough? no
what should you do instead? buy all purpose dry organic fertilizer for super cheap, mix in soil, have enough left over for dry water soluble ferts.

^^ A good idea. Also with liquid nutrients you will get more bang for your buck if you do smaller, more frequent feedings. When you flood your pots/hole a lot of the fertilizer ends up ass run-off. Doing foliar feedings can also help with this issue as the plant absorbs far more nutrients when foliar fed than when a soil drench is applied, plus it takes a much smaller amount of nutrient mix to folair vs soil drench.

Personally I would add some cheap dry amendments to your soil mix like bone meal or blood meal, much more cost e3ffective than using anything out of a bottle.
