I have had a horrible time with SOL genetics. I really want Blockhead, but I am 1/25 on germing the seeds that I have gotten from Seedbay. I was 1/10 on Adventure Mix and 2/10 on St#3. On the other hand, I was 4/5 on FS Ice, 11/12 on C-4 and 40/40 on some seeds that I made(Princess Diesel crosses).

I germed 10 Adventure mix's and none came up. That's after I recommended them to another member. (Who had better luck than I did).

I of course go for 15 seeds. Should get enough females to find a mom. I don't look at seed purchases as production right away. They're to introduce new genetics into the garden. Once that new mom is found cuts are taken, flowered and then the real smoking begins.

i plan to order some seeds in the future and if they horror stories around here are true about people sprouting males then hell i want 15 seeds a pack and they should give you +5 alternates. i read one guy bought a pack and the whole damned pack germed male!! $150 smacks for a bag-o-males?!?! damn that, at 50 - 100 bucks or more a whop, i want my damned moneys worth!!! 15 far as i care (and i am dead serious about the +5 !!!)

I've been thinking about this recently too Rosy. I personally like the 12 pack for reasons already mentioned. (germ rates-M/F ratios) You can usually find at least one descent plant out of them. Sometimes tens not enough.

I definitely agree on a "bulk discount". Why not sell different numbers of seeds packs for different prices. You hit a larger consumer base that way. Give a small price break with the more seeds in the pack. Quite a few people buy at least two packs of strains they get...why not give a price break for a twenty pack of seeds...instead of making them buy two packs at regular price. That might entice some people to spend the extra cash to get the extra seeds. Friends can go in on packs and get a discount. I know I would think twice about spending the extra on a bulk pack if the price was right when I only planned to buy one pack initially.
