Hey everyone,
So I have a few diff. strains here. DsdXWappa, killin fields,Bag.
End of first week 12/12.
I started them all off in 1 gallon pots using Roots soil and Nutes.
GL80 Tent, 400 watt hps.

The idea was to flip the switch, sex them , end up with some boys and transplant remainder to 2 or 3 gallon pots, whatever my tent would have space for.

Well 1 boy. All the rest girls , like 13 of em.:)

So what to do....

Finish them all in 1 gallon pots?
Or pick the best and transplant to at least 2 gallon pots.

When I pulled the boy, His root mass was about 40% of the pot's space, if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance, any input to help me make a decision is appreciated.:tiphat:

NIce thanks Cravenmore and growRight!

Last run I ended up with only 5 girls and did not top or supercrop. This time around I did(on most), and tried to keep my canopy fairly even. Im stoked to have them in flower now.

Off subject ., anyone have experience with Wappa? Any good?

Thanks again

i personally would go through each plant and decide if it was a keeper or not by stucture and height slimming the numbers down by say a 3rd so that u could get your ladies into sligtly bigger pots. this is a preference tho, i prefer bigger plants some people prefer smaller. its a personal choice.

If you're only filling up the 1 gallon pots 40% I would go ahead and finish them in there unless you're planning on going BIG.

Check out my signature, I have a 2000 watt indoor grow I use 1 gallon bags in and they produce.
Peace and continued success...

Thanks guys, I think Ill stick with them in the 1 gal pots. Will see how tall they get not looking for monsters, just a personal setup.

Btw that pic in the middle is a bag seed out of some legit dank.
Shes real nice looking, never topped her though, what do you guys think of keeping her for a ma? She has like a nice purple tinge to her and he leaves are different from all the rest. Like a lavender felt look lol. anyway

take cuts, root em, flower out mom and try her out, then you will know what kind of head she gives.
if not impressed, chuck her.

I put 29 in a square metre in pots just over a gallon. They are all quick strains, skunks mostly (so 50-56) days. All grown from seed, so loads of different tastes to come.

Just move the taller ones to the outside of the tent and they should form I nice 'U' under the light.

The 29 were all topped at a young age, flipped, then anything lower down was removed to allow for better airflow.

Its a little crowded, but looks to have worked (coming down next week), so you should be fine, depending how long you are going to flower for.

Midget, even in 1 gal. pots, they can stretch to 40-48 inches easy. depends on your space and what kind of yield you're after.
Perhaps pick out the 2 best and use them as Mother's for cloning? They do look healthy, big ups....

I've done a decent amount of growing in 1 gallon pots.. I can't seem to get my yield higher than 1oz per plant with that pot size. I've had hybrids grow up to 3' in those pots, and had the same yield.. Seems my typical yield is 1oz/gallon container size.. My 2 gal runs yielded 2oz per plant, and 3 gal yielded 3-4oz per plant.

I'm doing a 1 gallon air pot run right now to see if the increased root mass will give me more than 1oz per gallon yield.. If so, I have some 3.4gal air pots I'm gonna grow some bushes in. I'd love to get a qp off a plant again

Them are some crazy ass odds, my luck tends to run on the shit-side of things so I feel lucky.
Prest 1. Good advice, I have moved all mine to form a U around the center. Thanks!

Cheers mates.

If you've already put them to flower and the male (males are usually faster overall) had quite a bit of root space left your females will probably be just fine until harvest. However, if you have extra space maybe you could fit in a some clones to create some kind of a SOG.

Yeah those odds seem crazy, but I suck at math. I did use a metal halide during veg 400w. Were two weeks into flower now, Ill get some pics up here soon for feedback.
Cheers

Considering those odds, it looks like environmental factors likely affected the sex. I guess there's something to those things that they say. did you use metal halide for veg?

Ah, but there are thousands of grows on ICMAG, young grasshopper.

Your odds of winning the lottery aren't very good, unless you buy a lot of tickets.
