Added some cha ching the last few days. I notice the ph likes to drop with that stuff so topping with tap water balances the ph.

I did not like the low ph that cha ching induces so I cleaned res and started with just tiger bloom again. Plants love that stuff.

Thanks for all the kind words. Micro growing is fun and does not make me as paranoid. Even though I did a dwc in 1 bucket before, the experience of SWC shallow water culture way cool and great for small spaces. Remember from seed you want to start in cups of soil and let them get rootbound for like a month before you put in cloner to flower. I havent tried using clones yet but I suppose that would be quicker. I love starting from seed and not knowing what type of pheno I will find.

Been sampling lower buds and I must say its pretty yummy. Just chop and sit on the furnace over night. I didnt label plants because they looked almost dead before I went from soil to water and didnt know they would do so well..

Phew. Considering I just pretty much finished my swc set up (seed has germinated, waiting for it to break the surface) this is a really nice thread. Gives me yet something else to aim for, how many runs have you done in this set up?

Damn! This is awesome... I've never heard of anyone growing their plants in soil and then cleaning of their roots and plopping them in some water. I didn't think it could be done! THose look like they'll be some frosty colas..

QUick question about your dwc... How often do you have to change the reservoir? And do you mix in nutes every time you refill the reservoir or do you run some clean water cycles in between feedings?
