Wow, 1 gallon for three plants seems pretty micro, but they look great! How long til you harvest?

never seen a cfl grow start to finish, your roots look like they have trichs on em in that pic, gonna follow.

wow, really pretty pictures. Good work on the mini grow.. have you been snipping your roots as you go, or do they just stay small due to small plant size? I'm curious about yield on this one!

Awesome!

I'm amazed you were able to keep those plants so small! I have a heck of a time keeping 2 plants under control in my 1 gallon DWC!

But anyhoo, your results are looking most excellent :D I'm curious though, what has your feeding schedual been? What kinda nute's you using? I'm wondering if that might factor into your ability to keep those pretty little girls so darn small.

In any case, awesome awesome awesome :smoke:

Edit : Doh! I suddenly realized theres no medium in your DWC bucket! Stems growing straight into the water! :yoinks: I'm guessing they're clones then, which might also factor into how you kept em so small?

I started SEEDLINGS in cups and kept them rootbound for a month. Plants dont get very big when you do that but they flower fast once in dwc with
minimal root growth. Remember they are still a month old. They may look sick and not very big but once in water they adapt and flower fast. hope that helps. I also used no medium to take up precious water space. :bat: :yoinks:

shit, impressive!

so i take it you manually cleaned the media out of the seedlings' roots before plunkin em through that lid? did you already know the seedlings were female? have you tried this with clones?

i too want to see your yield because i have a similar amount of cfl wattage, but with 6 plants jungle style in organic soil, i really wanna get an idea of your yield to see if its comparable...

great job though, inspiring

No they were not sexed yet but it is a goof thing they were not all female. The soil was rinsed off the roots before the dwc. I have 2 other 2 inch plants I put in the cloner that are already showing hairs. They were from seed and outside for a month in cups. It would be cool to do a mini bio bucket run in 5X 1/2 gallon containers.

ya strain those look sick!! good work
can you post more pics of your setup?
are you only using those 3 lights throughout those whole cycle?

what kind of pump and nutes?...

thats a lot of bud for 3 weeks flower!!! that one is huge! ill be watchin see how it turns out.

also, question: with a lesser lighting source than HID, do buds just weigh less? will it retain the same potency or real close?

I am using an 8 inch bubble disk and a small air pump. I have 4X42 watt cfls and 1X26 watt cfls so 5 bulbs, all warm standard. I make sure to top off res every few days and keep lights very close. I have 1 fan blowing over plants and thats it. I dont even use a timer and sometimes I am off by an hour or two and do not have any hermies as of now.

Total watts 194

Heres a couple of plants that were outside stunted in the cold for 2 months and kept rootbound. They showed sex in 4 days at 2 inches. The other bigger plants were veged for a couple of weeks so thay will end up much bigger.

Here is a few more of the other plants.
