Let me say in answer to the question, Have I done somthing to draw this level of attention? not to my knowledge, the garden is'nt in my yard.
I live a very low profile life in my area.Futher more I'm not a " big operator nor Do I sell & I do'nt have lots of people over to the house at all hours of the day or night . ITry not to p o people so as far as I can figure there is'nt annyone out to get me. so to speak! ( little fish ) So as was already mentioned GO WITH YOUR GUT. STAY COOL, DO'NT BE TOO PARINOID;
AND TELL NO ONE , SHOW NO ONE.

Maybe its just me but I've never seen an all black helicopter anywhere except for movies and I look at every heli I hear because they interest me.
I've seen all green ones that belonged to the National Guard and plenty of custom painted ones but never all black. The part about no markings or numbers and blacked out windows is a little sketchy to me too.
Whats the point of blacking out the windows? You can't black out the front windows and blacking out the back windows keeps people from seeing out more than it prevents people from seeing in....

6 plants? Are you kidding? I live near a KNOWN location, and every year they find a major op - hundreds/thousands of plants in fields/rows. I have NO problem planting my 2lb+ patches anywhere near houses, cause like JJ said, if they get low enough to see plants, they will be knocking off loose roof shingles, and flipping over lawn furniture...
The choppers are for sweeps. If they see a 20' x 20' or bigger cleared area, they MAY hover, but if it's in a neighborhood, they will just go on foot/bike/car. Someone else mentioned the $50+/minute it takes to fly the chopper... Plus, there are choppers that are all kinds of colors, but they all have markings on them. If they didn't, they would be shot/guided down. I doubt the cia/nsa/fbi is looking at your 6 plant plot in mid April, and risking flying unmarked choppers to do it.

EDIT - If you left all kinds of shiny metal/plastic/water shit there, then you might have a problem, but not with black/unmarked/movie time heli's. Prolly will be olive drab or white bottomed (pirvate operators). I have seen the blue and yellow of a certain garden state's state police choppers hover over produce fields, but not till shit is actually planted - You know, like JULY...

I don;t like it... I understand your consternation.... Without knowing the area you are at, it is hard to say.... But, the possibilities with these hyper-active Policing departments is their love of ASSET FORFEITURE. One can lose everything.

I once had (on harvest day, my birthday, of course) a Fire Helicopter hover for 5 minutes - 25-40 feet directly over my greenie. I did not know it was a fire heli, and I was shitting bricks... Friends over, to help, and all... It was a nightmare, as they laughed from the cabin of the Heli, I could see their faces....
Then they flew away....
I am changing my plans, due to a new law imposed by our Fearless Leaders.. Gonna concentrate on other things for a while... Developing genetics indoors, keeping to only the 6 plant limit outdoors.
Only you know your comfort level.... Helicopters are intimidating as well. Nothing wrong with being proactive. Losing ones' freedom would be a bad prospect.

At 200 ft. up its impossible for anyone to spot any prep work done. At that height cars look like toys, people look like ants, and all the ground looks green (refering to said planting spot). Even w/binoculars. Besides digging holes in the forest or where ever is hardly a crime. I've had helicopter do things out of the ordinary around where I live every once in a while. Hell I had starts out in my back yard one time one was hovering and buzzing around over the neighborhood. Was I paranoid? You bet. I moved my plants off site. But as the days went by nothing came of it, so I got over myself (my paranoia of the pigs coming to get me). I went back to business as usual and had good season. You still really have no idea who the helicopter belongs to, or what it was doing. Your claim that it were the pigs has no proof. You're only assuming it was. As well as what they saw.

Am I the only person who notices that those who run there mouths usually have their karma/rep disabled, not that I would give negative rep, Its just an observation. As far as the chopper, Ive noticed you can usually find pictures of police choppers on the net. as they like any other lil guys are proud of their toys. Always trust a gut feeling, rarely does bad come of it compared to ignoring it. I wish you and all a great season. Karma, One Love

Hey billybob, was this around hmmm 5pm central time. The reason I jumped on this thread was while driving to the local wally, hubby & I saw black heli, NO markings making several passes over town. We did our shopping and returned to the house, and same heli was just making a pass where we live, which is 4 miles from town. We always have heli's flying but we have a naval base 45 miles away and MEDI vac helis but you can distingush the markings on medivac. I seen a similiar heli a few years back hovering over my area, I mean you can see the motherfucker smile LOL close...... Who knows what they are up there for.... can't be worried about that too much, just keep it on DL. Depending on the part of the country, you figure last freeze over deep south...time to search out the guerilla grows in this area.

That is hilarious! I have seen DEA choppers at 50ft and you can see a lot at that height.
