Hey Nspecta...great thread...are you still running all four of the the 06 cuts? What was your final verdict on the the 3? Was the 4 the true gem of the bunch in your opinion? Thanks for your time.
Dang ol' timer...isn't there a statute of limitations on threads like this...dug this one out of the graveyard.
Thanks by the way...kind of a walk down memory lane...I feel kinda bad though, I was a bit rough on Jdog, coulda prolly used a bit more tact & been a lil nicer.
As fer yer ?'s...back in mid-late '07...I had a label mixup and ended up throwing away the #2 cut (which had by that time become one of my favorites of the bunch) and I accidently kept the crappy #1 cut which I passed out to several folks labeled as the #2 cut...later, when grown out, we discovered the mixup but is was too late by then.
The #3 while being the most herm prone of the bunch is also the cut that most closely resembles the '91 ChemDawg SVA cut...predominantly in terpene profile & flavor.
The #4 is by far the overall standout of the bunch to be sure.
However, like I've posted elsewhere...based on growing the CD #1-4 , '91SVA, D, Sis, Etc. extensively...I highly doubt they are all sister cuts or were beans from the same bag. I honestly think most, if not all, the CD #1-4, D, & Sis are hybrids of the SVA '91 ChemDawg. So, if my theory is correct, any number of potential exceptional hybrids are possible utilizing the original '91 ChemDawg cut.
Just to clarify...the ChemDawg #1-4 that Joe Brand grew out are without a doubt all sister plants...they just don't match up with the '91, D, or Sis.
The First ChemDawg #4 I grew...back in 2006.
