Nirvana Super Girl and some Sensi Star (Sog)

I figured I would just jump to the flowering part of the grow. It's a small grow measuring 19" wide by roughly 6 feet long. I'm using cmh bulbs and figured it might be somewhat helpful to show what these bulbs may or may not be able to do. This is my frist grow with them. Plus I can't really find any super girl threads. They are still on veg ferts. The majority are in 1 gal grow bags, and then there are the moms which I had to flower-they are in 3.5 gal. square pots and root bound. The gals in the grow bags were vegged for 13 days.

Some of the gals are only one week into flower as they were runts and I had to veg them longer.

What I will do from now on is just pull a super girl and a sensi star gal out and snap a pic. Plus maybe throw another pic here and there.

Strain descriptions:
The name Sensi has long been associated with top quality cannabis and Sensi St@r lives up to her title by being one of the strongest Indicas that you’ll ever encounter. Supergirl is a heavy new female skunk strain with great potential for the commercial grower. Supergirl is a dark green bushy plant that won’t get to tall. She produces hard and heavy buds that glisten with T.H.C. Supergirl offers a deep skunk flavour accompanied by a strong body buzz.

I rolled the dice with these seeds both which were feminized. I put one of each into cups, buth sprouted, both females.

Lights: 1 super sun shade with 2 lights installed end to end. 400 and 250 cmh bulbs. Light is on a mover as well with a pc fan mounted so it blows right under light and on to plants. Light travels about 8 inches above plants.

Soil: A mix of promix, FFHF, FFOF, Perlite with added EWC, kelp meal and lime. Soil was left out and turned for 1 week.

Ferts: FFGB, FFTB, FFBB, Silica Blast during veg, Maxi Crop liquid seaweed during veg, Molasses during flower. PH is set to 6.3. I have other ferts as well that I may use later.

Here we are at week 3 of flower. First pic is the super girl, second is the sensi star. The super girl stretched about 3 inches more then the sensi star. The sensi star is filling in faster as well. I still have not given them any bloom ferts. Next time I will
The 3rd pic is looking from the side at the mini sog, the 4th is looking at the SS mom with the SG mom in the back-these have been given bloom ferts just once now. I will pull the moms out and snap a pic at 1 month.

Well here we are at week 4 of flower. I gave them flowering ferts for the first time about 5 days ago. The buds are just starting to connect up the stem. They are all very healthy right now. I will let these go 5 more weeks so we should see some explosive growth in the weeks to come as I up the bloom ferts. The Sensi Star’s are smelly as hell already as well as the super girls, except the SG’s are a sweeter smell compared to an over powering indica stench from the star’s. Plus the resin production out of both is pretty unreal at this early stage. I know this is pretty much strain dependent, but I also feel that the bulbs have something to do with it as well. The SG pheno I got is a little more on the sativa side, lighter and thinner leaves compared to some others I have seen. The SS just look great!
First pic is of the same SG from week 3. Second is same SS from week 3. Third is looking over the mix of SG’s and SS’s. Remember, there are 20, one gal bags, 14 SG and 6 SS. Fourth is looking sideways at the sog The fifth is looking at the 2 flowering mom’s with the SS in the front. You can tell the difference in plants as the SS buds are fatter. Sorry for the crappy pics. but it’s very hard to take good pics. in such a small space. I can see that I will have to up the ferts on both flowering mom’s as they are a tad behind in bud development compared to the clones which are not root bound.

They all look very nice and healthy green! How much do you think you'll yield this harvest?

If all goes well it looks as if the majority of the clones should yield around 1\2 an ounce dried each. Maybe a few will be more and maybe some less. The 2 plants in the 3.5 gal pots should give me about 3 oz's each max. Hopefully I will pull a lb, maybe a tad less. The pics of the 2 plants are not the biggest as some have much more weight on already. Plus I have not even come close to them recieving a full bloom application yet. I like to ease into it, so what I do is mix some veg with flowering ferts. The next feeding of the clones will be their first full-on bloom fert application. The 3.5 gal gals just got their first full bloom application. Some will not agree with this method, but I feel it helps growth down the road as I am not in any hurry to harvest. Plus I find if I ease into the flowering ferts I never get stunted growth. At week 6 I will add a bloom booster as well

I had to shut down ops for 36 hours. Placed all plants in boxes and moved them outdoors-no light because of inspections. Plants are not happy and there is no way I will get 1 lb out of this crop. Here's some pics at week 6.5, and I'm now on week 8.
Will harvest in 10 days as the plants were stunted because of the miss-hap.

Here’s my over-all view of the grow. Like stated earlier I rolled the dice and picked one seed of each, put them in soil and what you see is the outcome. The Supergirls pheno is ok, not great by any means. Med size buds. The Sensi Star is a keeper. Med-big buds. Smell is outrageous and resin production is amazing on both.
CMG bulbs- I’m not hooked on these bulbs as of yet. The plants never went through the fattening phase that I have experienced in the past when flowering with HPS. But it’s hard to pin that all on the bulb. I will say this, I’m going back to hps in flower next grow to compare. There is no way I will get a lb. but I will be happy with 12 oz’s which isn’t bad for a 650 watt grow in a room that measured 19” across by 6 feet long. I will post amounts when I trim.
I really could not find a grow log on nirvana super-girl. If one gets the right pheno, I think this would be a great plant to grow. It was very hardy, easy to grow, took abuse and stayed pretty happy.

Had to shut ops down. Final weight was 12.4 oz's which is not bad for 650 watts where I only used 400 watts for half the grwo; around 10 sq ft. and all the probs. I encountered.
Smoke report and such.. The supergirl is a lot better then I thought it would be. Very smooth taste and the smell was super sweet and all loved it. A very good stone, not racy, not couch lock. A great social smoke. The sensi star smells like gasoline/diesel; dark green; leafier, a little harsher but a crowd pleaser for sure. It down right puts you on your ass.
Next up, GHS White rhino Fem. and I will grow these out using low stress training that I have pretty much dialed in. The sog was too much of a hassle in such a small room.
