Anyone got any info on Thyphoon?

Hello, got my dirty hands on some seeds from Denmark.
Ive got a couple pics of one in my gallery now.
I just thought id drop a line and see if anyone has any info on what i can expect from it.

All i heard it originates from a place called "Thy" i denmark.

So anyone have any info on this one? =)

All info appreciated. ^_^

Peace

Wild guess - It's a thai strain? From Thailand. Which means it is extremely sativa and can take a long time to flower - like 12-20 weeks if pure. But there are a few crosses out there so I assume it's the usual 70-80 day flowering variety that is commercially available.

Thai strains stretch like crazy but are worth the wait. As long as you are flowering it inside under artificial lights you will be fine. You might want to top it once or twice. It's an energetic, floaty kinda high. Can be a bit trippy. Just takes patience.

Good luck Sprouting.

Heya, been browsing this forum for awhile now and finally decided to register because i have some information i think you will find useful.

Outdoors strain grown in Denmark since late 60s.

Genes are unknown to the best of my knowledge but its a Sativa Dominant(75/25?) hybrid with a touch of purple if lucky.

It's an early/easy flowering strain(Not 100% AF) adapted for the northern Europe and Nordic climate.
It's said to be very frost and mold resistant aswell, and it will grow to tree-size if the right conditions are met.

High is supposed to be cerebral and energetic.

Couldnt find anything on the taste or smell sorry.

Here are some photo links:

Agreeing with Mr.qewk.

It has been grown and maintained mainly in an alternative sociaty here called Thy-lejren ( Thy camp).
Its suppose to be sativa dominated, early, mold resistant and potent.
It has a goop reputation but i havent been able to find much more info atm.
I have some seeds myself im going to try out both indoors and outdoors this year, so im also looking for more info and pics ppl might have.

since its early i was thinking maybe crossing it with a high potency indoor haze and get some new high potent hybrid that still can be used both in and outdoors here.

Dang and I thought I was so careful only to link the thyphoon pics.
Does that mean Thyphoon has no purple phenos at all?

Much cred to you and tanska for bringing this strain out in the open, Its great for us Nordics and I hope to try a few someday.

mm, spring is slowly approaching. im sprouting some Thypoons and some others.
Will probably start a thread in some, not to far away, future.
Aint hoping for much since i live a bit on the north side of things. but i hope atleast the lowrider and thyphoon can give a little bit. ^_^
if all else fails, ill probably learn a bunch.

Peace.

EDIT: my mother plant was cut down due to a massive attack of some kind of herb-loving bugs. and also cuz it went into flower.

even the bugs love the herb. =D

more info on Thyphoon as i made a seed grow with them in Corn this year.
Very early.
seeds where mature mid September
if grown sensimilla i think it would have been ready 1-2 weeks earlier
i didnt trim them as i did them for a seed grow and is making hash with them instead
but it seems they have some trimming work for sensimilla because if the leaf structure
they are excellent hash producers though
in fact without having each plant on a scale i think they where among the highest yielding from the strains i had in the corn

since the seeds are hard to get for people outside Denmark/Europe i might list some of them on Seedbay later to see if our genetics are wanted outside our normal Nordic community

i grew Thyphoon out in corn in 08

a bit fluffy buds and some work on trimming because of leaf structure, but its high yielding, and very early
harvested mines at end September due to seed maturation but as sensimilla they could have been harvested medium September.
i havent smoked it as sensimilla so i cant say about the high itself but it was an excellent hash producer out in the corn
