Dutch Passion Blueberry:

Femaleseeds Grapefruit x Nevillas Haze (It's looking a lot better after a heavy feeding and regular water in 1 weeks time)
This one seems to be lanky and stretching a bit too much... any thoughts?

Dutch Passion Isis (1 of 2)

Dutch Passion Isis (2 of 2) This one is a lot taller, its 39" and about 4" from a 600 watt light (air cooled)

How long ago since you repotted? Did you add dolomite lime and how much?

I have a feeling your plants are low in both calcium and magnesium. Pbp is low in both.

If ph is low after testing, you can add some dolomite lime to the surface. Try a heaping teaspoon per gallon of soil mix.

If ph is ok or on the high side, you can add more cal mag in your water. Try 1/8 teaspoon of both calcium nitrate and epsom salts per gallon of water along with pbp. Calcium chloride sold under names like blossom end rot stopper for tomatoes could be used instead of calcium nitrate. It takes % ca and net weight of the bottle to give you a rate of about 35 ppm ca. Garden shops should have either calcium nitrate or calcium chloride. Call around. If you want to purchase a store bought cal mag suppliment, try cal mag plus at about 5 ml per gallon.

It may take some experimentation to decide when to boost cal mag levels. The above rates are quite low. It may take repeated applications in the water to get results.

How to test soil ph: After watering/ferting well till runoff, wait 30 minutes. Apply a small amount of distilled water to the pot till about 1 ounce of runoff occurs. Catch on a plate. Test the ph. If you can tilt the pot after watering/ferting and waiting 30 minutes and get some liquid out, you can test that instead.

Plants grow better with a constant feed in the water rather than every other watering, etc... Just use a lower rate. Ensure 20% of what your pour on runs out the bottom of the container. Ph adjust your fert water before applying to the plants.

Funny I am having the exact same problem. Exactly. My pics are taken in the room with the lights on so yours are better to show what is going on. The difference is I'm using an ebb and flow system. But the problem is the same. Purple stems, leaves fading fast, bottoms brown patches.

I always put in 6.5 ph water

i have not added any dolomite lime

i transplanted into 3 gal bags right before i put to 12/12 which was prolly 25 or so days ago

i did not expect them to stretch for 2 weeks before showing sex

but i agree, i think they are hungry and a little bit of cal/mag/p/ and k def

ill bump up their feeding and pick up some cal mag

should i feed with hygrozyme, sweet leaf, and karma every watering as well?

THANKS A TON!

Pics are day 16 of flower

I waited until girls were mostly dry (which was last night) to do the following

Flushed each with 2 gallons of 6.5 water
Then fed with 5 gallons between the 7 which consisted of:

20ml pure blend pro bloom
5ml cal-mag plus
8ml hygrozyme
10ml sweet leaf
10ml liquid karma

per gallon ph adjusted to 6.5

Also LST'd the tallest girl as she was too close to the 600 watt light, and rearranged them under the lights for a more optimal configuration.

Any thoughts?
