Soxx PC grow

So this is my second go at it in a PC case. The first run didn't go so well because of soil issues which are now resolved. I also got a new case which is bigger so that helps too. I also mad a name change for some security reasons. I'm back in full force now.
So here's the nuts and bolts...

Server case - dimensions 23" tall x 8" wide x 17" deep

Soil - Miracle Gro Organic Choice enhanced by some perlite, bone and blood meal.
The soil used for germination/seedling was a bag given to me from a friend which he got from a local institution which was pretty damn solid.

The lighting im currently using is a rigged up hanging from the ceiling by a rope truss. Two lights, one 26w and one 19w cfl. I plan on getting a 70-100w hps for flowering.

The strains being grown are two from a bag, one White Rhino from bcbd (lets see how this guy (hopefully girl) does because ive heard nothing but bad news about bcbd), and two MOD Dreamgoddess.



This is a picture of the case. Lightproofing has been a problem, but its getting worked out.




This is a pic inside the case. I still have some work to do in taking that damn thing out. I made a mistake and got two 6" pots instead of 4" pots that fit. oh well. I wanted to have 4" pots until they show sex, then switch to 6" or 8" for the rest of its beautiful life. I have one 4" pot, but it was purchased before the other two.



Here is Bagseed #1. It's birthday was on 4-4 and looks decent. It suffered some yellowing (i think because of lack of nutrients) when it was in seedling mix. It was transfered into the soil mixture on 4-18 and is looking better as the days go on.



Here is Bagseed #2. Its birthday was on 4-5 and looks a little better than the other bagseed. I transplanted into the soil mix the same day as the other bagseed.




Here is the White Rhino from BCBD. It looks healthy and is actually darker green. This little booger came out on 4-8.

I didnt get any pics up from the MOD Dreamgoddess because the camera died on me. But I did get a picture of my cat.

plants look good; in the case why didn't you take out all of those mount plates and brackets?

i couldnt get that big one out. i broke the tin snips i was using to cut the rivits and didnt want to go buy a new one. it should be coming out here in the next week or so. after that it should be smooth sailing.

yeah I have a case just like that I'm getting setup right now; and it was a nightmare getting it all out. took a power drill & dremel, but all set now...

Cool cat! Here's a shot of mine I took today.

time for a little update. the first bagseed (at 20 days) is about 3 inches above the soil with a good 4-5 nodes. new layers of leaves are coming as the days go by. the temps inside the box stay around 73-75 when the light is on, and about 66-68 with the lights off. it doesnt get too hot in the box because my window ac unit blows cool air in the in-take. very nice.
the plants are currently on 18/6 light schedule for them.
ill post some new pics every few days. but for now, i need new batteries for the camera.

News flash, this just in!
Bagseed #1 was topped yesterday.
Bagseed #2 has taken the height lead with Albino (White) Rhino in a close second.
MOD Dreamgoddess were removed because they were near 15 days, with no new sets of leaves. Probably due to a few things that happened in early development (germination, early seedling life, ect.).
All plants are looking great. My cat still eats the dirt.
And still no pics because i have no batteries. haha im a lazy bum. maybe ill go get some batteries if it stops raining outside. but hey, april showers bring may flowers.

ok another update. been doing alot with the cab lately. been working on finalizing the lightproofing, seems to work pretty good, just need to work on the intake now. a friend of mine hooked me up with some stellar pots, 6" tall, 5" wide, square style. absolut-ly perfect for my cab to get three of dem bitches in. so... i transplanted the two bagseed plants to the big square pots, and left the (A) W. Rhino inm the small 4"er. gonna let them stretch for a bit then LST. Thanks to POMH for posting a LST tread i was looking for i now have an idea of what to do. this community kicks ass!

Sorry to hear the DreamGoddess didn't work out for ya.... Good thing you've got backups!

Are you using mylar or anything reflective for the inside?

ive got some reflective material on one half a door, and then painted the walls white. there is all sorts of reflective tape on the inside, its the only stuff i used. the DreamGoddess plants i gave to a friend who just started a grow. i just didnt have enough space in the cab for them. if there are any males in there, im going to replace him with a DG because im curious and they look delicious! thanks for stoppin by pipeline!

here is an update. gave the plants food, started with miracle gro plant food, i think it was 10 drops per quart is what i used. they're looking good, ill get some pictures when the light comes on.

TIME FOR AN UPDATE! sorry its been a while, but ive been busy with exams and shit. im all done now and ill get some pics up here in a sec.

After a few days, i got some batteries for the camera. and many pictures i did take, but a bunch sucked, so i just have the good ones. here it goes.

here are a few seedlings i got from bag over the past few months. just some bagseed, nothing special. maybe ill put these shits outside tomorrow.

Hey Soxx, looking good mate. I heard something about keeping your cat away from your grow due to any nasties they might have on them. Not sure how valid it is but might be something you want to think about. I'm not letting my cat in my tent anymore.

Lookin good soxx! Great shots there! So ya are putting some outside! Digging any holes for them? What are you using for fert?

yeah i think ill be puttin some down in a little forest area. hope it works out well. the nutes are standard plant food by miracle gro. it was a cheap bottle, so i bought it. ill be making a trip down to the local hydro shop here soon to pick up some nutes for the little guys. i decided to flip the 12/12 on today too. ill get some pics up here in the next few days to show my new set up after the move. smoke on!

the food is a 8-7-6 liquid putting 7-9 drops per .5 L. i just bought some 30w cfls and a couple of mounts, so ill be working on the box tonight, getting things settled in. smoke on!
