well, hello. thanks for all the good vibes!
gillagin - the carbon filter didnt work too well. late in flowering the doors of my closet had to be kept shut (the only time its open is to tend the box with windows open, door shut) or else it would smell like a dead skunk everywhere. i think more surface area would have been a huge helper. but i've been strapped for cash lately, and the one im using works to an extent.
the yeild is so far - i dont know. i took a nug to my friends house and weighed it. it weighed in at 6.0 g. so far, 6.0g. everything else is sitting tight in a jar getting a good ole water cure. its been in there for 4 days now and i think im gonna take them out tomorrow to dry. after that is when ill know the official harvest weight.
the rhino is still rockin hard. a few more days for her.

wow one of those nugs were 6 gs..was it all the way dry? those must be REALLY dense.gj dude.

well, the 6g nug was off the rhino after a two day dry. from the water jar, i got a grand total of 1.2g. there was probably another 2-3g that i air dried and smoked.
the water cure went well. after a hearty 5 day stay, the nugs were removed and dried for 24 hours on a paper towel. after that, they were in a paper bag for another day. after that, i smoked it and it went pretty well. the smell of the cannabis was that of potpourri, a good potpourri i might add. the tasted wasnt there. the high was good. a nice head high, then move to the body after a good 20-30. afterword, its a sleeper. made me tired as heck. the high would last 1.5-2 hours. not bad i thought for my first attempt.

hey, i know this is from a long time ago...but what is this method with the tieng strings down? ive seen it before but have never heard or read anything about it. could you give some info on how to use this stirng method thing? thanx a lot if u can help

why hello to you all. right now i am pretty baked, so i might ramble for a bit.
here's some news. i chopped the rhino down on July 7. that gave her 8 weeks flower. i really think it could have gone for a few more days, but i was leaving for a little vacation. so she came down. that gave her a good 6 days to dry out. now its in a jar. i just smoked some. itsa very nice. at first, i was going a million miles an hour. and still am 45 minutes later. very thirsty. sippin on some cranberry grape juice. its good.
i've got plans for a next grow, but wont be for about another three weeks before i do. stay tuned for a more decent report.

the taste was good. kinda coffee tasting, earthy. the high was good. very uplifting head high at the beginning, then after about 20-30 the high spread to the body. very relaxing after a days work. the high really wasnt too intense. for me, the high lasted only about 1.5 hours. other people it lasted longer. overall. i give it a solid 6.
here in a couple of weeks, im going to be building a larger cab. get a 125w hps. be very nice.
