I finally got a set of extension tubes for my camera, now I can get really up close and personal with one of my favorite specimens, canna trichomes.



Here we have a HP#1xG13s1 flower


zooming in a little closer


without the extension tubes this is about as close as I could previously get

I knew this HP#1xG13 produced some short trichs but I never realized how fat the stalks were.

killer looking plants, I grew some Hawaiian Sativa x HP13 couple months back, still got some in cure....nice hashy smoke

awesome shots....looks like some kind of surrealistic alien crystal forest...that i wish i was running through. with a hot naked girl,and a bag of doritos.

Very Respectable Pics Dr. i just bought a canon rebel XT1 10.1 megapixels and havnt worked all the little gagets with it, was curious to what extension tube you got.

SEEDYNONO> Theses shots were taken with a nikon D80, extension tubes, 90mm macro lens mounted on a tripod with a wireless flash unit & blue posterboard for a back drop.

UserName> The xtubes really have made quite a difference with this macro lens, what do you shoot with? The next toy I am looking at is a bellows unit.

minglewoodblues> I woudn't say they are that good but a definite improvement compared to what I was previously capturing. No way a microscope & petri dish are cheating lol.

yeah Dr. it could be the same Hawiian Sativa, I got a buddy that keeps a HS mother that makes some sticky sweet lemony buds , but I have also seen a HS that was from seed that was more garlic diesely.......

nice photos dude. i need to get a camera like that, and a lens too :p that musta cost u a bit. those trichomes are crystal clear ^ ^ drool. good job mate.
