Here's a pretty winter grown NorCal Afgooey at 62 days of 12/12... The temps were low, and the god of cannabis let it snow

thanks, no C02.. Just a basic personal garden in Sunshine Mix #4 and 3 part AN, with a whole lotta love..

This is my first run with her, I'm sure I can get her a lil better with some practice.

Wassup kheph Well, I'd have to say she's more Blueberry than Aghani (for clarification this is the NorCal Afgooey, said to be BBxAffie, and not the same as the Afgooey in the Cannabible 3)... but it really depends on what kinda afghani was used.. She doesn't have much for earthy/musky/skunkyness like the afghans I'm used to.. more of a sweet fruity smell.. The buds are made up of longer calyxes and not as dense/clublike as I would expect Afghan or BB to be... Honestly, the grow characteristics of this plant suit the CB#3 lineage better, definately looks like a traditional sativa was used in this cross.. Unless the BB used was a very sativa dominant speciment... Just I'm used to most BBs leaning to the Afghan side of things, so I woulda expected this plant to be at least 50-75% afghan dominant..

But I have no reason to doubt the lineage as the person who tracked it down in probly the best person around to do it..

I haven't had a chance to really sample it yet.. I tried 1 joint of 4 day dry, but i wanna wait for her to cure a bit before i do a smoke report.

thanks steelers, she's a looker for sure.. Looks like a screenless SCROG.. She's got a real nice and easy structure to work with, so with a single topping and some supercropping, she'll do pretty much whatever you'd like.

I couldn't say she's dialed in yet, as it's only my 1st go with her, and I left her a lil too dense up top, not enough light down low.. So I got a bit more pocorn than I normaly do, but when the popcorn is caked in resin it don't hurt as bad.. lol



Here's a mini smoke report on her:

I jus had her for a 1st of the day smoke, and I'm quite impressed. She's definately one of the most potent i've grown, and her taste is pretty good. It reminded me of something, KK's SC, but with more flavor, more pronounced.. Sweet, hazy almost, but more to my liking, the flavor sticks with you longer than KKSC, and is jus more, thicker. IMHO. She does have a more indica feel to the stone at 1st, it mellows to more heady feeling, i like it, it's nice. It burned superbly, tasted great down to the end, yes sir, i think i like it!

It'll definately be a keeper for now, i can see why they rock this cut commercialy, she's a nice yeilder, 3 ozes of good buds from 2 gallons of medium.. about 2-3 oz of killer trim that could be smoked on it's own. That's why this girl is a bubble hash dream, that and her trichomes are smaller and would make for some good yeilding fine bubble.

Now, if only i had some bags..

lol, yeah, the flood waters have receded, but now they're frozen.. lol

I should be getting some bags sooner or later, till then the trim is chillaxin in the freezer.. With a bag of bubba trim, Deep Chunk trim, Blockhead trim, and c99 trim... Then about 10 qp+ sized bags full of mixed trim from the last yr or so of growing.. So when I finaly get some bags i'll literally be in bubble hash heaven!

Lookin good.
I got an afgooey in flower right now.
at about 3 weeks.
I think the afgooey I have is afghani #1 x Maui Haze.
Not sure though. I did get it in Nor Cal. But we'll see soon.

this was my second time runnin her, she's a slow grower imho.....well slow vs the TW.....that plant defines vigour.........but great trich production and if your into bubble she makes you happy!

Yeah, I guess she's a slow grower compared to ECSD, KKSC, a few of the fast ones.. but after growing so many heavy indica hybs or pure indicas she seams real fast.. lol

And i'm not used to the deep green/black plants vegging at any substantial rate..

I topped her only once bro, and hurd supercropped her into shape, it's realy quite easy as she has a nice predictable structure and branches extremely well..

As far as the lineage, if somebody gave me 2 choices, AffiexBB or AffiexMauiHaze, from the taste/bud structure/calyxes I woulda picked the A#1xMH..

Now I've never grown pure haze, or probly smoked it either.. I'm using KK's SC to compare it to, as most peeps say it has a hazy taste.. Well, as I said, i found Afgooey tasted like a louder/sweeter version of KK's SC, but with a stronger more indica dominant high...

I didn't taste any real flavors that i could associate with BB (the 2 that i have tried), besides it having a sweet taste.. I could taste a bit of Afghan, but not the Deep Chunk kind of affie..

Plus it does look alot like all the afgooey i've seen before, triangular buds, hella frosty, deep green, etc etc..

All i know is it's some pretty damn good shit
