yellowing fans after flushing

- 2x400W HID, day 28 12/12
- transplanted to 3 gallon pails of FF Ocean Forrest per gal six weeks ago
- always water with 3 ml Super Thrive per gal when pot lifts lightly
- began adding 2 tsp Tiger Bloom 3 weeks ago, and 2 tsp H2O2 every other water
- flushed w 3 gal fresh water per gal of soil one week ago, haven't watered since, foliar fed w/Super Thrive twice

The lower fan leaves have slowly been turning yellow since the flush.

Am wondering if this is natural use of N in leaves at this point in flower or if there is a N deficiency. Or something else.

Two BB plants are doing fine in same condition - they needed water two days ago ... the sativa pot is still too heavy to water yet ... maybe tomorrow.

PS - anyone wish to guess what family this bag seed sativa is? White"? Haze? Skunk? The seedlings looked quite like indica but after 3-4 weeks veg, she started producing very sativa-like leaves.

The yellowing here - it's all on one side of the plant:

stop using superthrive all the time, it causes buildup in alot of strains, the problem your having now is a nitrogen deficiency

give your plants some nitrogen based nutrients

you need to feed your plants weekly, but since you was using superthrive you didnt get a buildup because you wasnt feeding your plants regulery

stop using the superthrive dont use it no more for now
get some grow nutrient and use that for a feeding or 2
depending on which one it is you may have to subside the tiger bloom
reason for this is because depending on the nutrient you choose, it may have good levels of potasium phos, if it does you dont want to use the bloom too then you will be doubling the dose and get nutrient burn

your plant is more sativish and wil flower a bit longer than more indica based

also have you been checking your ph of your mixture?

An inexpensive electronic soil tester has the soil pH at 7-7.2; have been adding a quarter to a third cup of white vinegar per gallon.

Thanks for the advice - I'll use Grow Big a bit, or maybe get some fish emulsion to up the N. The yellowing looks to me maybe more like pics of a Mg deficiency than a N def; and have read of others getting Mg defs when using Fox Farms products. I gave them some Milk of Magnesia along with regular strength Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom, but left them a bit thirsty, knowing I might find some advice here today.

The same deficiency/problem showed up in the blueberries when the lights came on last night:

trust me thats not a magniseum deficiency, check out my sick plants guide you will see the difference, your veins are not showing dark green, its going yellow alon with the color of the plant

magnsieum deficiency shows dark green veins

dont use products over the counter like that most of the time its not good for plants
the nly product i know that is safe besides epsom salts is boric acid..... eye wash

so i wouldnt use milk of malisia.... your plants have there waste backed up? :)

milk of malisia like 30% calcium , just a thought. yellowing is normal in some strains even under 1000watt lights they do same i would just loli pop them to the green leaf . the plants dont mind eating their fan leafs in flower mode , i wouldnt give them much N in flower if any counter productive at this stage the plant will eat all the leafs that are dragging down its bud prime urge to finish be for winter :joint:

Gave them some Super Tea 5-5-1 yesterday, and some epsom salt for good luck. White vinegar too, pH down to 6.9-7.1.

Both the BBs hermed last week and as this is my first grow and would rather have three plants to harvest, I pinched them off - about three dozen male flowers, only two had opened before they were found. Looks all female for half a week now.

Thanks for the advice and guide!

i dont know why people keep insisting you need to adjust ph of the water when you water your plants

its absurb unless your growing hydro then you have to

they are hungry, ph has nothing to do with this sprout.......
if he had ph issues there would be more on his plant, more problems... browning leaves or some crispyness spots......
its a simple nitrogen problem

give some nitrogen and it will be all good

And i agree about the ph levels importance for hydro rather than soil.
Organic is the only way to goooooooooooooooooooooooo.

kinda, i think thrive alive is not as strong as super therive

and yes using super thrive in flower will cause airy and fluffy buds and cause problems

b1 and supertherive are vitamins, its something that only needs to be used once a month at the most

cannabis wont use all these vitminds very quickly and superthrive burns the hell out of the plants if used to much

Noted. Thanks.

Soaked the roots according to instructions on bottle and gave each layer of soil a couple sprays when transplanting: absolutely no shock or decreased growth.

Here's all three recovering from the N def.
