Hey there shaggy :tiphat:

What genetics are you running?

:tiphat:Welcome back unregistered190

All the strains I run are clone only, and are usually given to me, the strains have been around for while.
I am not sure of the breeder but I was told it was an OG pheno.
It has that classic taste of OG and is not usually a big producer.

I am not a big fan of seeds...genetic today are horrible.
If you want to hear the rant, just ask for more on the subject.

Thank you very much for your interest.

Cool cant wait to see what it does

Hey there Critter
Welcome to my humble grow room!

I checked out Critter's Jungle.
Man I hope my grow comes out half as good, as your grows looks!
WOW!
It looks to me like you have great genetics with a huge green thumb ta boot!

Any advice, at anytime would be generous!
I hope to see ya around.

These are only under a 2 bulb florescent light...gotta clean the other room.
P1090788.jpg

This strain is a clone only, OG pheno.

P1090789.jpg

6 healthy little girls...they grow up so fast though..LOL

P1090790.jpg

I guess you call this, low pressure aeroponics right now.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

P1090792.jpg

I call this the ROOT stage not the VEG stage

Hello to all!:tiphat:

I have some issues with my clone and teen area.
Light is shinning out the window and through out the house.
It is only Floro's but light none the less.
I did the cardboard thing, real good too,I have the second window built out and light and sound proofed, due to it being on the neighbors side.

I try my best to be ultra conscious especially around kids.
I would like to think myself as invisible.

I live in the city, my neighbor's drive is 3 feet from my head when I sleep in my room.
His house is 10 feet from there.

So I am shooting for zero tolerance.
I would never want to effect someone else's kid...no way.
The kids play in my front yard!

I own a $1500 ozone machine to be confident at all times.
I will feel better If I seal a few plants up then no light leaks what so ever!
Maybe it is just to sleep well at night..dunno....but I can't board up all the basement windows..LOL.....In the old days I spray painted the renal house windows BLACK, Not cool I know!...But to be young and without a care was cool at the time???

I am looking hard at the Gorilla grow tents right now.
They are a little more than others, I just need to decide if it is worth it.

I gotta do something!

shaggy, those nutes seem too low on phosphorus, and high in k, even when u addd their pk boost.. also the numbers on their veg and bloom seem almost the same..

clones look god tho!

I think they are copying the advanced nutrients sensi grow and bloom NPK profile!

I am Not real comfortable with NPK ratio's and such yet.
There is so many different profiles out there it will make your head spin!

When I first got these nutes I had some issues, only to find out my PH meter malfunctioned.

Long story short:
The guy at MBFerts told me to use only phosphoric acid to adjust the PH.
I will have to ask him if he figures the phosphoric acid into the NPK equation.
That may just bump it up to where it needs to be....Dunno??

As far as veg and bloom goes, the new trend seems to be just that nearly identical.

Some swear by Jack 20-20-20 from start to finish??
So I get confused there also.

I like these ferts because I can be confident they do not have the hormones in the base and PK boosters.

I prefer to stop using hormones early!!
If Hormones are in your base nutes or bloom boosters you will use them until 2 weeks before harvest or even later for those who do not flush!

Please feel free to school me on a good NPK profile!
Please explain why you prefer yours, if you have the time.
I am interested in learning thats for sure.:tiphat:
Thanks for strollin' through my humble grow room.

Looking good shaggy.

Welcome to rdwc. I hate the term undercurrent because its like saying "xerox" instead of copy

Read the info on in n outs of pith. ..raw ozone interests me but can't find any info on it.

Glad your trying out a new nute line. I've been using veg n bloom from hydroponic research and so far I like a one part nite other than adding a bloom booster.

RDWC is what I call it too.
It just sounds better in the title.
shag gets caught in the Recirculating deep water culture current....LOL:biggrin:

No info on ozone but look into reef systems.
Do ya have a link to your grow, I would love to see what your up to.

FREE REMOTE Included (1 PER ORDER)
P1090464.jpg

I paid less than $190 with a remote out the door!
I own 2 now.

The sales guy there gave me a free bottle of vitamin booster for being a loyal customer....COOL!

The SolisTek Ballast is a digital ballast on a software based platform.
Utilizing Japanese components and unparalleled engineering, SolisTek is able to achieve a less than 1% return rate.

SolisTek offers true digital light systems for the horticulture industry.
Our ballast boasts exciting new features that are revolutionizing urban gardening:

Remote Control
remote control solistek digital ballasts
Exclusive SolisTek remote control will allow you to wirelessly configure the wattage
settings and set the integrated digital timer for your SolisTek Matrix Ballast(s)

Built in Digital Timer
built in digital timerCustom programmed settings for grow/bloom. Sync all SolisTek Ballasts on the same
schedule with only 1 remote control. Eliminate unnecessary external components.

Geen LCD Screen
matrix ballastDigital green read-out to visually display ballast settings and won't disrupt plant
sleep cycle. Dark cycle-friendly!

Ballast Life Timer
Onboard ballast 'odometer' that will count the number of hours the ballast has been
used. Industry's only ballast life timer! (multiply unit by 10 for actual usage hours)

solistek matrix ballast specs.

Total Harmonic Distortion (THD):
SolisTek Digital Ballasts are tuned for minimal Total Harmonic Distortion (THD%). SolisTek ballasts
offer the cleanest burning ballast the industry has to offer. The results are longer ballast and lamp life
and less depreciation of lumen and par output over time.

Ignition Control
Sequential lamp ignition technology that will ignite your lamps one at a time based on load stability.
This revolutionary technology (not a randomized startup) will actually detect the voltage and amperage
frequencies of the electrical circuit and fire lamps when the load is most stable. SolisTek digital ballasts
are the only ballast capable of this technology.

Prevent surges and spikes in your electrical environment and stop overloading breakers. When you
power multiple SolisTek ballasts, the electrical draw is controlled by our internal software, maximizing
your electrical efficiency.

SenseSmart
Soft-Start technology are standard in all SolisTek Digital Ballasts.
Pre-ignition self-diagnostic checks, which will check for 8 different factors before attempting to power
the lamp.

SenseSmart™ checks for:
- Open Output - High/low temps (internal)
- Ignition Failure - Thermal
- End of Lamp Life - Overflow Current
- Over/Low Voltage -Short Circuit

Solis Boost Overdrive:
SolisTek's overdrive does not harm the longevity of the lamp. Contrary to industry standards, Solis Boost
will only overdrive the lamp by 5%. Because STK ballasts are rated so efficiently, the extra boost in
power will not affect the lamps lumen depreciation or shorten lamp life.

P1090573.jpg

If the power goes out the lamp will not try to re-strike till it is cool enough thus saving bulb life!
The matrix screen displays an error message till the bulb is cool then it will re-strike the bulb and run till it is timed out.
Very cool feature if you are not home during an outage!

LAMPS

probe.png

Probe-Start lamps are NOT compatible with electronic ballasts.

Using a probe start lamp in an electronic ballast will increase chances of lamp & ballast failure.

50/60Hz Probe-Start metal halide lamps should not be used on high frequency electronic ballasts. It is improper for an e-ballast to ignite a lamp through a probe, as the circuitry was not designed this way.

Pulse Start MH and HPS lamps do not start like this, they require a 4k ignition pulse from an igniter or electronic circuit.

(this is what the MH/HPS switch does on a switchable magnetic ballast, it either keeps the igniter in the loop, for pulse start or HPS lamps, or takes it out for probe start)

Running the proper lamps with your digital ballast will ensure longevity & optimal efficiency.

SolisTek Pulse-Start "True Digital Grow Lamps" are the industry's optimal solution for digital lighting technology, Our digital lamps
are engineered and tuned specifically for compatibility with high and low frequency digital ballasts.
SolisTek Lamps are perfectly matched with SolisTek digital ballasts to offer the cleanest burning combination possible with minimal to no OUTPUT THD% (Total Harmonic Distortion).
Most ballast manufacturers only test for input THD, not OUTPUT.
This combination is as reliable as core and coil (magnetic) with the efficiency of a digital ballast. SolisTek digital lamps are engineered with a precise gas combination for increased blues, reds & UV's for a full balanced spectrum.

SolisTek Metal Halide (Pulse-Start) Digital Lamps 4K
SolisTek High Frequency MH offers:

The 4K Metal Halide is a full spectrum light used for all stages of growth and bloom.

Available in 1000w, 600w & 400w
Full Spectrum light optimal for all stages of growth & bloom

Featuring Low Iron (Low-Iron) glass for enhanced UVA and UVB penetration to your plants for higher quality and yield

Our special low iron glass allows for more UV spectrums to get to your plants and flowers. Low iron glass is composed of purified materials free from contaminants that make the glass extra clear.
{Usually glass has a green tint to it, these are impurities possibly from recycled materials. It has been proven that Low-E glass allows more UV light to pass through.]
Why digital lighting? The Sun is high frequency. In order to make artificial light behave more like natural Sunlight it needs to be high frequency. Digital lighting makes for a higher quality of light
that’s good for all living things...

This is only possible if you have the proper lamp and ballast combination.

STK Lamps contain UVA-UVB and the upper portion of UVC.
Exercise caution when working around any HID lamp that contains UV, always wear protective lenses.
