HELP - Strange Brown Spots on top of younger leaves

Hello

I need you help to identify and stop this decease from spreading

It appeared before 3 days it affects only the tops young little leaves , it looks like brown spots and it seems that can kill the leaves after a while

For now it affects only couple of tops and only some of their leaves (see the pictures) but i'm afraid from spreading

I have two plants and only one of them have this symptom , it's not over watered for sure , but maybe can be nutrition burn that's the only one which comes to my mind to be burn , currently i'm using only pure water to feed them since last 2 days

Please all comments are welcome

mites are there since the begining i tried to kick their asses couple of times but at the end i don't care , basically they didn't harm the plant at all , 2-3 leaves at the bottom and that's it

IMPORTANT NOW : What means my PH is off and how to fix it ?

Any ideas , please :) !!!

More information is necessary. What medium are you growing in? What have you been feeding them? Organic or chem?

It was looking to me like thrips damage. Whatever bug is making those whitish streaks is affecting the plant more than you think. Its alot more than just damage on a couple of leaves.

I'm an organic grower and have no need to worry about pH other than mixing up a healthy soil. That being said, I thought pH issues resulted in twisting leaves.

As far as nute burn goes....here's how it works. Your plants will become super dark green, tips will burn and then finally the "claw". First 3 pics plants are fairly dark green, no burnt tips and definetely no claw.
Last two pics plants are pale green at best and it looks like this started at the top of the plant???
Bottom line we need more info.

Holy shit. You don't care about Mites?? Might as well quit trying to grow. A tablespoon of dried lavender in a quart of water left to soak for 24hrs then strained and sprayed on your plant works wonders.

well fellows

the marks are not from mites but thrips , till now nothing works against - hot paper wax , tobbaco water etc ,fu*k them i have them since a long time ago and nothing happen with any of my plants , i'm usually killing them with bare hands ,anyway thanks i will try Lavender too

about the brown spots on my top young leaves ...well i think pH is low as i feed them with organic nutritions but mixed with a lot of water - Plagron Alga Bloom 1/250mixture , 800ml per 48hours
The soil is pro from Biobizz Light Mix but because of to much feeding i thing it lost the pH charge

tomorrow i will remove as much as i can from the soil and will add brand new

BTW ALL 5 pictures are from the same plant the same buds @ same moment , my camera just used luminescent filter for the first 2 and with no filter for rest it because the flowering lights are RED/YELLOW

SO for now i will consider the spots as pH damage and probably nutrition burn , will replace as much as i can from the soil and will feed them only with pure water for 1 week

any other comments are welcome

update

it seems that only the left side of my plant is affected from these spots , and it's spreading only on it

the spots are growing but still only on the left side and only on the top young leaves

i'm thinking to cut it down , or to start with cutting the affected leaves if it's some kind of sickness which spreads i can try to stop it now

any ideas ? what do you think about cutting the affected leaves ? or the whole branch ?

already changed the top 5cm of the soil with brand new from BioBizz pH 6.5 , i can't change more it's full with roots and i'm still using pure water to feed it

Thanks in advance for your comments

hey fellows

i find out what's causing my problem

it's nutrition burn which in addition locks my Phosp. and probably Ca as well to be absorbed

the plant is already damaged but i'm trying to cure ... well as much as possible with pure water no nutrition at all for 3 weeks , i will start after that with pure chemical not organic nutritions but 1/4 from normal dosage

hope it will help .....u never know

GL and thanks for all which tried

ps: the pH is perfect still 6.8

Are you using phosphoric acid as a pH down? That could be causing lockouts.
You do not have a nute burn.
Spinosad is what you need to kill thrips. They are seriously damaging your plants. Consider growing organically next time and throwing away your pH meter.
I'm almost positive you will tell me that you are using phosphoric acid as a pH down. If so flush all your plants and start using pH down from Earth Juice.

hello

i'm not using any pH up/down product ,my soil is fully organic from BioBizz and the pH is 6.7 written on the package as well

as well i'm using fully organic nutrition from Plagron Alga Bloom

about the thrips well fully correct but i don't have any chemistry to kill them and still looking for some home made solution , but as i said there are no damaged leaves , only white marks

so again it's nutrition burn , i feed them 3 times per week and did the mistake to put nutrition all 3 times , now i will use half dosage 1nce per 3 times

anyway the plant is still sick and if i don't take actions it will die for sure

already have signs some buds are going brown even it's not ready ...

Okey the Lavender is here , already in water , will spray it tomorrow evening and will update you with the results about the mites

if it works it will be the best way to fight mites

thanks

just thought id add in tht i see thrip damage...maybe you dont see the thrips, but seeing that damage i garntee you got thrips

Well if you really are growing 100% organically, have you thought of using teas? If the damage that is occuring happens only at the top of the plant then you can rule out N-P-K def. Did you use any dolomite lime in your soil mix? What do you have to give them micronutrients? Can you brew a tea? Spinosad is about the only thing that will take care of your thrip problem or you shut down for a couple weeks remove all old soil and clean like a motherfucker.

hello all

thanks for your help

i had nutrition burn , and i already fixed it , 15 days with no nutrition and double dosage pure water and now everything is going back to normal , i have back my tops to dark green and the decease is stopped just right on time

regarding the white spots , yes they are from thrips , i have them since the beginning they are orange little bastards living on my leaves but never harmed them never eat them , have no idea how they live , i have no single leave eaten or with any damage except the white marks but the leaves are not damaged

anyway :) I just sprayed the whole plant with LAVENDER Water and will update you in next few days about the results

I used 3 spoons of dry Lavender and 250ml pure water , left for 24h :) it have such a smell which can kill any bug for sure , so i hope it can kill them too , u never know we'll see in next days i will repeat the procedure couple of times and i'm sure that it will have some ofect over the thrips

Thanks all for your help

and again the whole problem was caused because of nutrition burn which i already fixed no more damage

update

it looks like i bit over-watered them trying to clean the burn from the soil but the decease is still there nothing helps

so i give up will flower them till i have at least couple of alive leaves and then will harvest what's left

so the soil is perfect 6.5 pH
the temperature is 25 Celsius
12h-12h
no nutrition at all for the last 15 days

thanks m8

but as you can see none of these looks like the damage which i have

in addition i think it's nutrition burn , so to cure them you have to quit any feeding except pure water for at least 10 days i'm doing it for 15 and as you can see the top's are kind of back to live after that

yesterday i put just 2 drops of nutrition and this morning the decease killed all edges which means the plant is still poisoned i guess....

but i'm out of any idea actually is it burn or some deficiency or whatever , nothing looks like the damage from my pics

Thanks for the chart anyway
