Welcome to Doobies Cripple Creek the Hybrid. This thread will feature genetics obtained from our member Mountain High Seed, Fjallhoga, with Jolly Bud, and a DJ Short Cocoa Kush clone I acquired last year from a collective. Those two were crossed last year by me and this is my first grow-out of this cross. There are two phenos but I have only one female here. The other was a fat leaved Indica looking one that I’m very sorry I don’t have it going for us. I do have plenty of seed for getting it going in the future.
A big Thank You FJ for the great genetics. I’ve been noting this cross in my Doobies Grow Diary 2011 but now think it deserves a thread of its own, a place to get down n dirty with close ups focusing in on the flowers and late flowering.
Growing in my greenhouse with 3 sides open for max ventilation, in my sandy loam that had straw added to break up the soil some. Cow shit was added in the spring. I’m now fertilizing with Doctor Earth. Trained extremely low as you can see. Any more questions about the start may I refer you to that grow diary.
It has some great dark colors in the lower stems, especially the stalk, and some now showing up in the upper portions. I expect some colorful buds out of this as the CocoaKush produced some excellent purpling at the finish, the Jolly Bud some nice purple colas as well..
The entire album of images will be located here: Cripple Creek-you might want to visit that if you'd like to see more entire plant grow images or images from the early part of the grow.
Thanks for joining me and your views and comments appreciated…cheers, DD
