Botanicare Power Clone Anyone know whats in it?

The title pretty much says it all.
Lately I have been seeing a lot of people giving out formulas or alternatives for high end or expensive nutes.

Just curious if anyone might know what the make up of this stuff is.
I have heard nothing but good things about it and how cuts can root in a matter of days using this stuff.

I looked on the label and it just gives the same old kinda of information other ferts give like guareenteed .10 % nitrogen and bla bla bla.

If anyone out there has an idea would love to hear it thanks.

I have no idea what's in it but it works better than anything else I've used. I got a sample bottle with a 25-site power cloner I bought a couple years ago. I just can't see paying that much.

Can anyone tell, what cloner is best? Clonex?
Can I add to soil (for seedlings, cuttings<-- organic) 0.5ml(1/4 normal dose) bloom nutes, witch really helps boost root growing (tested with plants, personal experience).

This stuff is kinda steep in price.
Was hoping someone might have a recipe that can stand up to the results of this product. :(

The cloning solution i have the best results with is... plain H2O.

I use rapid rooters, and done multiple cloning gels vs control (plain H2O), and H2O always has a higher sucess rate. I have noticed more explosive rooting with the gels, but lower survivability.

Here's a pictorial of my technique.

There is water in the bottom of the cup, the coco mat sits in this water, and the capillary action keeps the rapid rooter at the proper wetness. I dont even use the top cup or the 'press and seal' plastic wrap anymore, its not necessary, just keep the coco mat wet, and the water line below the rapid rooter.

The dosage instructions say 40-60mL per gallon. Hydro shop dude told me the other day that he was running it at half strength. Probably due to it being so fucking expensive.

I may test it some day. If and when I do what I'll probably end up doing is putting a few water bottles in the cloner to lower the total volume of recirculated water, thus reducing the amount of solution I need to use.

Anybody else have any feedback on this product? The hydro shop dude was very enthusiastic about it.

I use to make a lot of clones with the turbo and ez cloner 120 sites. I have tried a lot of different rooting hormones. When using an aero cloner the Botanicare liquid cloning solution is the way to go. Btanicare also make a rooting gel that is really good. When I swtiched from aero to rock wool cubes and domes I tried everything out there and I mean everything. The best results I got was from rootech rooting gel.

all i know is this is the best growing product ive ever used so far i will never run my aerocloner without it ever again. and dont put any where near what the bottle tells you to put on an ez clone 120 all you gotta put is 200 ml total which equals approx 50 ppm at ec x 500. i get roots in 3-5 days and pretty much every clone roots at the same time. other ways ive tried i dont see the first roots until a week and a half and i cant transplant them for a while because some take alot longer to root. using the powerclone i can transplant every clone in 12 days with a big root system. youl be shocked how ill this shit works

Dip n Grow works really well. 15 second soak, then off she goes to cloner or clone medium. Good luck. -granger

I've been running my EZ-cloner for long enough to basically know what to expect out of it.

I'll snatch up the smallest bottle of Power Clone and test it out next time I get a chance.

I'll definitely be throwing a bunch of water bottles in the tank to lower the volume of recirculating water in there. Shit's expensive!

its not as expensive as you think cause you dont put in any where near what the bottle says. dont forget to report back ak i think your gonna be shocked how good it works. fyi i once put in a little too much and the clones showed deficiencies. be careful how much you put in its strong stuff

Mix 45 - 60 ml Power Clone™ Advanced Liquid Formula in one gallon of water for the first 3 - 7 days, or until roots are initiated.
When roots have initiated reduce nutrient strength to 12 - 15 ml per gallon.
Well first off let me just say in reference to step 2 there I will not be emptying my cloner reservoir and then refilling with a lowered dose. I will just run it until the clones are ready to come out.

So what kind of dosage would you suggest using it at? The guy at the hydro shop said half strength, so instead of 45-60 mL per gallon it would be 22.5 - 30 mL per gallon.

EDIT: I picked some up today. I think it might be a little while until I get a chance to try it though. I have a bunch of clones in right now, but I don't want to start the test half way through since many of them already have roots. Then I don't really have any big enough plants to pull off 60 clones. I will remember to check back though.

naa dont put that much start at maybe like an 1/8 of what the bottle says than measure the ppm. if it ends up around 50 ppm then dont put any more in. 50 was the magic number for me in the ez clone 120 i put in 200 ml

i just used the power clone for the first time in a while cause i took a break from growin and i just calculated how much im putting incase anyone wanted to know. im doing 7 ml a gal which equals approx 50 ppm (ec x 500). i know it sounds crazy but thats all you need. like i said before you dont need to put in any where near what the bottle says

Do you think that 7mL / gallon is where the effects start to plateau, or is it just the point where effects are noticeable?

I would like to use this product only if the results are dramatic. I am willing to pay a premium (by using more) to get those results. If the results are less than dramatic then the benefits of running the cloner with nothing but chlorinated water might be more attractive.

That said. Putting 60mL per gallon of anything in any kind of nutrient solution seems like overkill. I don't recall any other product I've ever used having a dosage rate that high.
