A Couple Pics of NIRVANA CHRYSTAL

just a few shots... I will run it one more time to see what it will do when it is really 'dialed' in. I have never seen a plant eat so much ppms & calmag....

it is a great smelling plant - like orange chewable vitamins/perfume mid flower - right now day 50 it is even more like orange cough syrup. veg's very easily, cloning not so easy. the stems remind me of trainwreck a lot. yield is heavy and trimming can be a pain, it is much more frosty and sticky than it looks

I did not document this plant very well, I will do better next time. anyways, enjoy the pics I do have:)

chrystal is the far right table - 12/12 from clone

great job!

Nirvana crystal was one of the first strains I ever grew and it was very good quality for the price.

Very good pics man this strain look beautiful.

:thank you:

Is that sorta perpetual? Looks really nice!!
thanks murphle!! it is indeed perpetual, every 20 days. its taken a lot of practice to get 25 clones to root all at the same time, but i've got it down now and everything is going smooth

great job!

Nirvana crystal was one of the first strains I ever grew and it was very good quality for the price.

that's actually why I bought chrystal. I bought BOG blue moon rocks, c99, white russian, all which were very pricey, then saw the chrystal for a really good price, and threw them in with the purchase.

after I bought them I read reviews about the strain here and most of the reviews are pretty poor. but, on the contrary, I have had good success with it. 9/10 popped, 6 females

the smoke is killer too, which I was hoping for considering that its white widow x northern lights

thanks everyone, i'll put up some pictures in a week or so then right before i harvest, which will be followed by a smoke report and budshots

Ingenious mate! I like you E&F with Smart Pots n Hydroton idea, very cool, & your whole Rig looks very efficient indeed. Really cool man.

Nivarna are a great choice for the money, one of the best there is for value for money strains imo!

Best of Luck with your grows!

Hey man great lookin' plants. Doing justice to the $20 seeds; thanks for giving them a shot. No intention to rip on you but why did you pick smart pot type containers for your hydro? What would be the benefit over something like a large net pot or some other cheaper container? (Smart pots are pretty expensive. My 3 gallon ones were $5 a piece and the 7 gallon ones a bit more).

it actually isn't all hydroton, 3-4 inches hydroton on bottom of pots, then prewashed coco/perlite, then 3-4 inches hydroton on top to discourage gnats. thanks for the props!

follow the link in my sig to my Sour Grape grow log. I break it down in there pretty good, but if you still have a question feel free to ask :thank you:

first thing I tried was net pots and ditched them for a few reasons, #1 they floated with hydroton. #2 the roots wouldn't use the whole pot because they don't like the light. but now I am using coco/perlite with hydroton top/bottom and it works out perfect. the smart pots are reusable I just turn them inside out brush them off with a wire brush, then throw them in the washer with no soap. they come out brand new. + i think the fabric helps wick the water throughout the coco very well

I made the selection from regular seeds.. I have never tried feminized but have read lots of bad things about them so I'd rather do it the hard way. I had 6 females to choose from out of the 10, all slightly different but ended up choosing this one because it had a combination of the features. one was really dense and didn't foxtail, then I had one or two that were much more on the white widow side, lanky stems, lots of stretch, etc. this pheno seemed to have the best balance. also it was the only one that tinged purple on the calyxes

hope that helps
