So here we are. Another Year of Fun. I just want to take A moment, to thank everyone who supports this Awesome site. I did have an incredible harvest, last year. I pulled close to 28 LBS.
It's been a really abnormal Spring, below average temps, and a-lot of rain. I was planning on getting things going, in early May-June, but had a major problem. I didn't have a vehicle,to get me into the Hills, I spent a few weeks looking on Craigslist, to trade my car, for a 4X4 pickup. I found one, that I was interested in, and the next day I had it in my possession.
So the following week,June 1st, I started my beans, soaked them on Monday. let them soak for 24 hours, then put them in paper towels, in a zip lock bag. Then I took them to the grow spot on Thursday. Made a 6x6 foot bed to plant all the seeds. Re ran all the irrigation lines. Salvaged everything i can use this year. Did a-lot of brushing, opened up the canopy, and made room to get another 200+. I dug about 10 holes, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 foot holes. I did not do this last year, I just made a hole big enough to plant the clones. I now know, that the bigger the hole the bigger yield per plant.

Ok, so now the genetics I'm working with this year are as follows,
1. Hornsswaggle = Nirvana's Bubblelicious (male) X Blueberry
This is a cross I made last year.

2. Outdoor Purple

3. Mandala's Hashberry F2's
I did a seed run over the winter, in a PC case. I ended up with close to 400 seeds.

4. Mdanzig's
Sour 60

and last, but not least
5. Mighty Mite
I haven't done these in a few yrs.
My plan is, to get the first batch of seeds going, and plant throughout all of June, first 2 weeks in July.
Hope to end up with 200-300 females.
last year there were close to 160 girls.

Here are a couple of pics to get this thread going.

Haha awsome man. This should be another great year for ya. Im psyched to see how everything turns out. Do you plan on using the same plot as last year? Also can't wait to follow the progress of the sour 60... i've heard some great things on the strain in general. Do u plan on doing a seed run with a few of them (the sour 60's)?

Im actually running a few of the same strains u got going ;), so it'll be pretty cool to be able to compare progress throughout the season. Although even tho mine have a two month head start on yours i wouldnt be supprised if u find a way to completely out do me lol.

Do you plan on digging a hole for every plant, or just a few select ladys?

I made my way up to the spot, and started to prep for all the new seedlings. I spent all day digging, making some terraces, They were close to 1 1/2 feet deep, and 20 to 25 feet long, spread out on 2 foot centers.

Looking great!
So you just use 100% natural soil and fertilize with the Heavy Harvest?
This year I'm doing the same and using mostly sandy natural soil with a bit of peat moss and perlite added and my plants are loving it now that I have the waterline dialled in, the sand is almost like a hydro medium, I apply the Heavy Harvest heavily and they just suck it up...I'll never grow in 100% potting soil again, there's no need really when you use the waterline and drip emitters.
