i hate to say this but lights in tents are usually aircooled through the hoods.there is no way your gonna be able to run 4000watts if you cant control the temp of (''1'' 1000).the only way i see you pulling this off with this set up is if you get atleast a 12000btu ac and vent it in there some how.i have seen it so i know it can work.i just dont know about vert in a tent.the other way would be to get some c02 in there so you can run high temps but then you have set up your fans in away so they dont exaust your c02

i went all 8" ducting on ALL of my hoods. at least your duct is straight sheet metal. flex duct looses CFMs by forcing the air in a spiral motion.

I like what your doing in here. Way to make that jump. 4000w is a lot for a second grow. But you have IC so your in good hands. And you seem like a very capable dude anyway. Love the ducting over the vert 1000's..
so can i make a few suggetions? Only to help move the grow in a good direction / increase yield.
# 1, you have a sick set up... lots of room, tons of light, top notch equiptment. You have to get some seeds / cones from a reputable source. the bag seed is not matching the rest of the grow. worst case scenerio, order something good off Seedbay / Boutique. Yield / Quality / time invested.. all go up a notch (or 20)
# 2 seedlings too close (as mentioned)
# 3 A fan speed control will solve your ventilation sound issues
# 4 Big Carbon filter

Ahh dont worry about it as long as you caught it as soon as you can thats all that matters and you learning tons.
Also, they cant hermie if they dont have a sex yet. So you are hoping you don`t get any males from that. I seriously doubt it will cause them to go male automatically just from that, we`ll keep our fingers crossed though in case. Always remember cooler away from the bulb. HID`s are basically space heaters in whatever size you are running them and a 1000w space heater will warm a room 10 degrees my friend.

I would scale down your plans a bit. No way you are going to fit 4 x 1000W HPS in a 10 x 10 area. Not without major headaches. You will do just as well with only two lights. Remember that once your plants get big they will add a lot of heat/humidity to the room through transpiration.

to me it sounds like you will be ok.at first im thinking if he cant cool 1 1000 he's in big trouble with the other 3 but sense you threw in some better fans and its working for you,you should be ok.this is a little over kill but i like over kill....for every 1000 use 300cfm.a 1200cfm vortex or 2 600cfm vortex will keep those bulbs in check with ease.
