Good news boys, I'm gonna be getting that diesel. Original 91' greatful dead cut. I'm stoked cuz I'm in Hawaii and that shit is rare. Anybody got any good info on it? I would love to learn more about this cut.

the chem 91 GD is different from the original diesel AKA headband. ive grown both of them. the 91(grateful dead) cut i had...but am getting back soon is different from the HB.

The cut that LifeCycle is refering to is the Headband/Daywrecker/Original Diesel....aka... Chem91 x Mass Super Skunk x NL
And Gato is right...the real original is held by only a few but from what i hear the cut has made it to a few clubs out there on the west coast but dont live there so dont know for sure.

There is much confusion over this subject. The 91 Chem Dawg was first called the "Diesel". Making it the Original Diesel. 91 Chem X SS/NL was called Underdawg and was also called "Headband" and "Daywrecker" . Both names have been dropped referring to the 91 Chem X SS/NL cross and is just known as Underdawg. Due to many OG/Sour like crosses that are also known as Headbad and Daywrecker. My friend still holds the real cut and i'm thinking about getting it back and maybe spreading it around.

The schroomy Original Diesel cut was released by Swerve into the clubs a year and a half ago. 707 Headband cut is just starting to be availble (the O.G Kush smelling headband cut), the 707 HB is awesome its getting to be just as popular as Bubba & O.G Kush out here in So Cal. The 707 Headband is just starting to circulate, the 707 HB seems to be much more popular than the schroomy orginal d. I don't know about the underdog though, I don't think anyone here besides JJ has tried it either.
I heard the grateful dead chem '91 from Nor Cal is the same as the Karma & docta cut of chemdog, and its not the 707 headband. The karma & docta Chem cuts are much more astringent rocketfuel smell/taste, its a great cut as well

Ive never heard of the Chem91 referred to as "Grateful Dead" cut...I know the whole story with the beans for all the Chems coming from the bud he got from the guy at the Dead show though...
Is this the same as the VA Skunk cut? I've heard from a few people that this is the only REAL Chem 91 cut still going around...
Its crazy how many different versions of 1 clone only are around...seems like a lot of them must be crosses or S1s though.

wick-i had forgot bout shroomys OD cut. im getting ready to get that cut in a few weeks....i will be giving that one a go.

the 707 cut isnt very good...IMHO. every time ive smoked some 707 from friends that grew it very well...i always end up reaching for the HB cut i have.
