I seem to be losing the green in my ECSD ladies, slowely but surely. I fed one of them a pretty good dose of N a few days ago...doesnt seem to be getting any better. I upped the nutes, hoping it was just lack of. we'll see. maybe some sort of lockout?? should I flush these ladies??

the 3 middle, taller ones are the ECSDs at 39 days 12/12

thanks for any advise. she never used to yellow up on me untill way later. Iv been going heavier on the nutes than I used to in the past using FF. maybe its a lockout of some sort...I DONT KNOW! lol

i measure the N sources in my soil mix pretty carefully and the ECSD can sure consume some N in early-mid flower. it doesnt seem to mind yellowing a bit as long as you keep feeding it.

Hey Baph , for those support stakes ....

if you ever get hands on some 20ga coated 'motor winding wire' (soft copper) what i've done in the past is wind the wire around & around a 2gal container into a large coil , then remove the coil & cut leaving you with many lengths the same size. (its soft wire any good Friskar scissors will cut)

Then holding the the ends together where the cut was made , make a center crimp up at the top , centering all the lengths at one time . Then you take 3-4 lengths of wire & wrap around the top of of the stake tightly & twist several times till snug , which now gives you 6-8 spokes of wire now fastened to the top of the stake .

You make up as many as you need and now you have a stake that has 6-8 lengths of wire-support spreading out (like an octopussy !!) that can be wrapped around any wayward falling branch & sinched back upright . Using the really stout natural bamboo stakes is great & where you twist wires tight around the stake at the top , just smudge on some GOOP over the twist & stake makes them resuable over & over again preventing the wires from coming loose . Let dry overnight ...
( Plumber's GOOP best all around glue out there !!)

Motor winding wire is soft copper so can be bent over & over again with ease and 18 or 20gauge strong enough to hold even a heavy branch up ....netting the easiest but for smaller stake grows this is a neat trick ! ;)

This coated "Magnet Wire" also has many many other uses and is great to have around ...here found some 20ga on eBay ...you want to use red, gold colors not green that gets lost against a green background , 20gauge best bet:

16ga Aluminum Electric Fencing wire also has many many general uses ...have even hung ballasts with this . Not for staking plants , but for just a ton of other uses where you just need to tie something off , add some support or doa quick fix on something .

Soft & galvanized but strong , so easy to work with ...can be found atsome Home Depots or Lowes too ...great stuff ! One roll last many years and 100's of uses , very strong .

(make sure its soft temper aluminum or nickle , sometimes it can be harder steel spring kind, no good . )

For everyone experienced with this cut, when does she stop stretching? I have read the thread 2-3 times all the way through and I don't have any idea.
