Blunt Africa - DWC - Blue Mystic - Satori - Cindy99

Getting close to chopping time!!

The 2 Satori's that are in the one dwc are gona get the chop in the next day or two. 10 days ago I did the last water change and added GH's Ripen to finish off the process. Here they are...

First the shorter of the two Satori's

Next is the taller of the two

Now one these girls the pistils are just tarting to turn brown, I like my hihg's on the up side so I prefer to harvest a little earlier. Plus I still have the other Satori that is in the DWC with the Blue mystic, her I can leave longer to see what the results are.

Here is a pic of the other Satori and BM

I made a small mistake when I topped up their nute solution. I thought I'd use some of what was left from the 2 Satori's dwc and added it to their DWC. Obviously the solution was weakened by the two Satori's first so did not have a enough nutes to keep the Sat/BM happy, hence the yellowing of the leaves. Anyways, I did a fresh change last night which should last until these girls get their final change with Ripen added.

As I do not quite know how long these girls have been flowering I'm gonna look back over my thread and also check out how much flowering time time recommended for these strains. This might mean that I'll need to flower for just a few more days than expected. hmmm, let's see...

Thanks Getafix, thanks for stopping by.

Righty then. The axe has been swung, and I now have two very nice Satori girls hanging upside down on their way to smoke heaven.

Tup, this morning was harvest time. And I'm very impressed with this load, my best ever I'm glad to say. It's gonna take a week for the stink of trichs to get off my fingers!!!

Enough jibber jabber!! Here are some pics.

Here are the two girls before the chop. What I like to do is to remove most of the big fan leaves and leave some of the smaller ones to help with the drying process.

Here they are after getting a little trim

Looking juicy huh?

Here is the taller of the two Satori's.

Now she weighed in at a hefty 230g,:yoinks: and has nice dense buds, and as you can see, lots of them. She also has a heavy Indica smell to her, not so much the spicy citrus smell I've gotten off other Sativa's. I guess she got a higher dose of the Indica pheno in her.

Here is the shorter of the two Satori's

Now she only came in at 165g, but just have a look at the fat main cola!!

I could not wrap my hand around that bud! Now she has a real nice fresh citrus smell to her, so I reckon she'll give more of an up high than the other.

Also just want to let you know that the other Satori and BM will be cut shortly. The BM especially, she has got some nice buds growing and is already have her pisyils goin brown. I'll pop them into some Ripen water tonight and give the BM about 5 days and the Satori about another week or so.

Sheeeit!! I'm gonna have so much ganj sitting around I'm don't know what I'm gonna do with it!! I'll probably freeze a load once cured and start building up a real menu of toking delights!!

Peace out everyone

Oh yah, Don't forget that these girls were on 12/12 a week after sprouting. So I'm thinking that this a a top result for such a short time.

Don't disapear for too y'all, the BM and other Satori are now in my sights!!

too true, dude!

well done, awesome yield for 12/12 from seed. ours veg'd for 4 weeks and i doubt they'll yield as much!

take care

Thanks for the comments guys...

Here's another update.

On the left you have the Blue Mystic and on the right the Satori. The pistils are currently sitting at 30% brown which is when I'd prefer to harvest. It will be another week or so before harvest though cause I only got round to sorting out ph'd water and Ripen for them last night. So it will be heavier couchlock than I'd like but hey, it ain't gonna kill me.

Now here is the little lady that I've had a request from VT for, the C99

She got beaten up a bit outside and I reckon she had few creepy crawlies on her (We get loads of them here in Africa, in fact I had to rescue a screeching moth from my cats last night, no lies, this thing was only 5cm long but made a noise like a banshee!!).
Anyways, I gave her a good dose of Ludwigs organic bug spray, transplanted her into a larger pot and then put her under 12/12 this morning. Like I mentioned yesterday, I'm on holiday from about the 23rd December so I should be able to harvest on the last day.

I'm impressed with the Satori...seen a few grows on it....nice plant!! ....Mandala does some nice work...especially at those prices....

The c99 made a nice comeback....she doesn't need to get big anyways.....

nice update bro

Nah, I Don't need her to get too big. She will be mainly for my lady to smoke as she does not like hydro, too much poke for her!!

So from now on I'll be growing in soil as well as hydro....

Looks like it came out real nice BA. those are some nice colas for sure!
enjoy my friend enjoy.

Hey All

Just a quick one to let you know that I gave the BM and other Satori the chop yesterday.
Herewith first pic

BM is on the left and the Satori on the right. These guys did not grow as big and juicy as the other 2 Satori. This I put down to the fact that the 2 large satori's I harvested were grown in a DWC that was twice the size as the BM & Satori.

Here is a closer view of the BM

and here the Satori

Sheesh, I'm gonna have a ton of weed kicking around once these are dried and cured. Don't forget that I've also got the C99 under 12/12 and also the inknown Sativa that sprouted in my garden has shown that she is a female also

Nice

Hey cannasurvival, thanks for stopping bye.
I try to keep my ph at around 6.5. But to be honest with you I only checked once or twice a week and adjusted as required. I did have a blip earlier on when I did not check the ph for a while and the plants did not dig it too much. You can find that part of the grow earlier on in the thread.

Jedi, the force seems to be with me on this one. This was my first proper go at dwc and as you can see the results are great. Thanks for the kind words!
