Sorry to see mold but nice to see some trichs and buds:) Good to know that you'll probably get a harvest this year. Gotta try out that Thyphoon next year I think.

nice plants koi, some fine looking thypoon specimens in there....very interesting strain this is...I have both Thypoon and Thypoon x Royal Dane seeds lying around for next year....also managed to get some Oldfarmers Nepal \ Henkes Lolland and Danish Gold seeds...something which Im quite happy for since DCF where I bought them has stopped sending seeds abroad this summer :(

not sure how many of those strains will finish in norway around 58-60Degrees North though, I think the Thypoon and Thy x Royal Dane will make it, and possibly the Danish gold since I've had success with Guerilla Gold #2 a couple of years ago..anyways, it is exciting times for us northerners nowadays....just a few years ago it seemed impossible to get a crop outdoors here, while now we can actually choose between quite a lot of variety, and more is constantly being made accessible...sweet :)

uansett, lykke til med resten av growen din og jeg håper at du får plantene i hus før det verste høstværet kommer :)

Hi Koi!
I think that flowering may be delayed due to low temperatures.
What did you mean as "Slaugthered" AF?
You shall check your spot for the presence of mold for every 3-4 days.

If you are waiting another month or more to cut them, wont the cold have taken them before that?
I mean I'm same latitude, I'm in Norway, your in Sweden.
Norway got the golf stream which makes it averagely 1-2 degrees hotter where I am in comparrson to Sweden.
I'd think frost would come at the end of september, not October?

spliff, in the western coastal part of .no we dont get frost until october, mid october actually.....its the damn 90% humidity and non-stop rain that is the killer....never seen a patch this side of the mountains not infected with mold to some degree

Ah yeah, I know the areas on the west etc. is hotter in general, but I think that is also directly caused by these places being in the path of the golf stream.

Here on the east side we don't get the 24/6 of rain :p
So you've never finished a grow on the west?

Here in the east the winds are pretty calm, there are less rainfall. And you might have the golf stream closer. But we have the baltic sea which gets heated during the summer, but don't mix with colder water really. So it stays hotter here longer.

But I have bad news regarding the grow. I have had intruders. I had too cut two AF-plants, and I harvested the molested Thyphoons and left the rest.
They are not nearly ready to be harvested. So it's no point in cutting them down yet.
I hope lady fortuna follows me.

yeah we hardly ever see snow here, and that is due to the gulf stream....but also we have "harsher" climate than you guys in the east does with heavy rain\winds and quite often hailstorms....while you have more dry and hot summers and snowy and cold winters...but thats the difference between coastal and inland in every country I guess....I must admit that I'd much rather have your weather and conditions :)

yeah I've finished a grow consisting of gg#2 and Freezeland x gg#2 here and I got lucky, we had a dry spell during august\september and they were all finished by 10th of september or so (the very late ones, most of them were finished around 25th of august the latest)...so basicly since you're a fellow norwegian I would recommend the UDG strains....especially the ones from Borealis and Greens (breederbrad from smoke-a-lot seed co is now continuing his lines since Greens isnt breeding himself for the moment)

also some of the danish lines hold promise like typhoon and royal dane, also a strain called Early Dane seems promising (its supposed to be two-three weeks earlier than Royal Dane I think)...check out some of gunnarguchis threads for some early dane info, havent found the seeds for sale anywhere sadly....anyways, we have a vast number of options for growing way up here @ 55-60deg N nowadays, just a few years ago it seemed like an impossible task....good times indeed...now we just need to get something _really_ mold resistant :)

berrea, I've heard several people call ggxcongo the perfect combination between quality and early finish....it smokes like a tropical sativa and flowers like a northern pine-tree they say :)

Better work will be done next year hopefully. I just hope the spots are safe.
One is a shared spot with my brother and a friend.

The other one I will keep to myself.

2010 I definitely hope they will have a chance to mature properly.

See you all then!
